Set in the very centre of Umbria, the estate is surrounded by rolling hills and a rich
history. Florence and Rome are a two hour drive away. The capital city of the region,
Perugia, is just 20 minutes away and will delight you with its wealth of cultural activities
including opera and food and music festivals. The private rental villa overlooks the
Italian countryside while being surrounded by manicured gardens and offering
stunning views on all sides.
The name of the summer holiday villa originates from the Italian word for “chimney”
and refers to a villa with many chimneys. Impeccably restored, the luxury villa has
been decorated in vibrant colours with an Italian flair. The lounge, with its fireplace, is
spacious and comfortably furnished. Solid wood furniture define the dining room that
opens out to the vast garden, creating a light filled and airy room. Catering is made
easy by the well-appointed kitchen, also with outdoor access. The villa is airconditioned throughout and offers satellite TV, high speed Wi-Fi internet access and a
DVD player.
The superlative Italian property can accommodate up to 12 guests in the main villa
and in the elegant cottage close by. There are three king-sized double bedrooms. All
are charmingly decorated and very welcoming with views over the rolling hills and
gardens. Two more rooms are furnished with twin beds and the cottage adds a kingsize bedroom, making that a total of six en suite bedrooms.
Outside we have a large, inviting pool surrounded by sunbeds, parasols and chairs.
The pergola has seating for 12 for relaxing outdoor dining or enjoying cocktails at the
end of the day with family and friends. There is a sofa with parasol outside the living
room and wooden table with seating for eight, just outside the kitchen. Outdoor living
is one of the many joys of staying here and must be taken full advantage of in these
beautiful surroundings and Italian sunshine.

Surely the most spectacular element of this villa is its lush, landscaped garden with
more than 3,000 plants that bloom at different times of the year, giving a wonderful
display of colours that change with the seasons. Although the garden seem limitless, it
is fenced and private.
A laundry room with washing machine and ironing facilities are supplied. The estate
provides a daily cleaning service as well as all day assistance to help and meet your
everyday needs, including arranging a wellness service, travel arrangements, a chef
or even a wedding.
The COTTAGE is a little jewel in the amazing garden. Sleeping for two is provided in
the king-size en suite bedroom and there is a charming living room with small kitchen
and dining table. Just outside the cottage there is the perfect place to sit and enjoy a
drink at sunset.
