SESSION
1. Programme of the Session
Monday 20 June is exclusively dedicated to the meetings of the working groups
The morning of Tuesday 21 June is set aside for the Standing Committee meeting which is
only open to its members.
Meetings of the working groups must not take place in parallel with meetings of the
Conference of INGOs and the thematic committees. The coordinators of the working groups
should contact Oren Gostiaux ([email protected]) to schedule their meeting.
The meeting of the Conference of INGOs will be held on Friday, 24 June from
9.30am to 4.30 pm in Room 1 of the Palais. Please note that INGO delegates will
not sign in on the morning of the plenary when we will hold a topical debate on
migrants with the Permanent Representatives of member States. INGO delegates
will be able to sign in as of 1.45pm, before the start of the afternoon sitting, in
order to collect their voting cards and ballot papers.
The programme of the Session, which is regularly updated, can be consulted on the website
of the Conference of INGOs in the box "Sessions” which features on the right-hand side of the
homepage http://www.coe.int/NGO.
2. Working documents
The documents for the meetings are published on the Conference of INGOs website as soon
as they are available. They can be found under “Functioning” under the corresponding bodies
(Conference, Thematic Committees, etc.) of the Conference of INGOs. You are invited to
obtain the documents which are of interest to you from this site. Please note that no paper
copies will be provided at the meetings.
3. Welcome/Access to the meeting rooms
Your badge may be delivered at the Agora building or the Palais de l’Europe depending where
the meeting in which you would like to participate is taking place. This badge will be valid the
whole week giving you access, not only to the meetings of the INGOs, but also to the debates
of the Parliamentary Assembly in the Palais de l’Europe and to the event “Speed Dating”
taking place at the European Youth Centre on Wednesday 22 June. The badge will be
delivered only to registered participants upon presentation of an identity card with the same
first name and last name as those indicated on the registration form.

FROM STRASBOURG AIRPORT, ENTZHEIM (www.strasbourg.aeroport.fr/)
The airport is now 9 minutes away from Strasbourg railway station, with the TER Alsace
shuttle (TER means Regional express train).The train station at Entzheim airport is directly
linked to the airport with a gangway and a secured pedestrian walk.
A 2.60 € TER (train express regional) ticket allows you to travel between the airport and the
railway station. A 4.20€ tram+TER ticket allows you to combine your travel TER Strasbourg
– Entzheim airport with Strasbourg public transportation network (CTS). This ticket is valid
for 1h30 once stamped.
Tickets can be bought at the CTS shops and vending machines at the stations.
FROM THE RAILWAY STATION
You can take the tram or the bus.
A ticket costs 1.70 € and should be bought from the machine on the platform of the tram or
in the bus. Don't forget to stamp the ticket on the platform before boarding the tram. The
ticket is valid for connecting public transport for one hour after stamping.
Important: you must stamp your ticket each time you change trams or buses within the hour.
Take Bus No 2, direction Port du Rhin, stop at Lycée Kléber. (about 13 mn travel). Take
Tram E, direction Robertsau Boecklin, and stop at Droits de l’Homme (for Agora and Palais
de l’Europe)
Take TRAM A direction Illkirch – Lixenbuhl or TRAM D direction Aristide Briand and get
off at Homme de Fer (second stop).
Using the same ticket which brought you from the Railway Station, at Homme de Fer take
Tram B direction Hoenheim Gare and get off at Wacken (the last tram leaves Homme de
Fer at 00h30). Then you take TRAM E – direction Robertsau –Boecklin and get off at the
second stop – Droits de l’Homme. The Agora will be on your left, the Palais on your right.
BY CAR/FOOT
From all directions you will find “Palais de l'Europe” or “Institutions Européennes” signs
which lead to the Council of Europe main building (with a row of flags outside). The Agora
building is across the bridge, opposite the Human Rights Building.
For 4.10€ you can park your car from 4.30 am till 1.30 am the following morning behind the
Human Rights Building in the Parking Relais Tram (P+R Boecklin) and receive a return
tram/bus ticket for each passenger.
TAXIS
In town you can find taxis at the Railway Station and near the Homme de Fer tram stop. A
taxi from town to the Agora or Palais will cost between 10 and 15 €.
