En 1975 j'entre dans la profession au sein de la COMEX jusqu'en 1980. Ces
premières années formeront l'homme de chantier.
Rapidement appelé à prendre des responsabilités, il a fallu à l'homme de
terrain apprendre à organiser, diriger, prévoir, sur des chantiers aux réalités
complexes, forcément inattendues.
Cette connaissance de la pratique a demandé à l'homme de chantier, de
posséder à fond la théorie et de connaître toutes les techniques, pour
devenir homme d'organisation et de conseil. A l'un comme à l'autre, il a fallu
surtout privilégier les bonnes relations avec les hommes et les sociétés des
quatre coins du monde, s'adapter et se faire apprécier.

"Diving consultant" : Etudes de faisabilité sur des appels d’offre, avec détermination des moyens en
matériels et personnel, suivi de la rédaction des procédures de plongée, établissement du Plan de
Sécurité ainsi que la supervision des opérations sur site, avec la société AZCOROV (Saint Mandrier).

Chef des opérations hyperbares : pour la société monégasque Trasomar, sur le chantier de la
Grande Digue de Monaco.

(Aphrodite) Canaries/Madère/U.S.A (Columbus). Représentant ALCATEL pour le contrôle de la pose
d'un câble fibres optiques destiné à la Marine Nationale en rade de Brest, avec la D.C.N de cette ville.
Année 1993
Représentant Client : Pour la société E.T.P.M pour la supervision de travaux de plongée en Hollande,
ainsi que des opérations de "Rock-Dumping" (recouvrement de pipeline pour protection) en mer
d'lrelande et en Norvège.
Pré-survey par R.O.V du tracé théorique d'une conduite d'eau potable aux Saintes, en Guadeloupe
avec la société écossaise "PROVE SYSTEM".
Années 1986 à 1993
Représentant Client : Représentant ELF pour la réparation du pipeline de chargement des pétroliers
sur le terminal de Djéno, au Congo. Chef de chantier sur l'Ekteshaf (navire D.P) pour les surveys par
ROV du réseau de pipelines sur les îles de Kharg Island et d'Aboozar, en Iran.
Représentant de la compagnie E.T.P.M pour la supervision d'opérations de plongée : pose de pipes,
crossings, pose de colliers sur jacket, etc... Pour la même société, en Argentine et en mer du Nord :
Contrôleur qualité sur des chantiers de soudures pour de la pose de pipelines.
Années 1975 à 1986 - Plongeur à la Comex de 1975 à 1980, Participation à toutes sortes de chantiers
pétroliers offshore aux Emirats Arabes Unis, Tunisie, Congo, Gabon, Côte d'Ivoire, Mururoa, Italie, Mer
du Nord (pose de manchettes en saturation sur Brent Field avec Sandokan et Talisman de la société
française Serrat. En 1984, j'organise une expédition de recherche d'épaves sur le banc des Eskerkis,
(30 cm d'eau au milieu de la Méditerranée) Recherches qui feront l'objet d'un film en 16 m/m qui
obtiendra le "Prix du ministère de la mer" au Festival International de l'image Sous-marine d'Antibes.

In 1975 I joined the COMEX Company, with whom I stayed until 1980. These five
years helped to form the field manager. Rapidly destined to take responsibilities, I
was obliged to learn quickly how to foresee the often-unexpected problems, which
arise on the worksite. Face to face with the complex realities, my organising
abilities were put to the test.
The practical know-how combined with a solid theoretical and technical knowledge
has allowed me to become a good adviser and organiser. In both roles, I realised
the importance of privileging good relations with the men and societies around the
world...

In 1984, I organise a wreck salvage expedition on the Eskerkis bank, precisely around the reef Keith (1 feet of
water) This expedition will be the subject of a 16mm film document, that will be rewarded by the French
Ministry of the Sea Award during the International Festival of the Underwater Pictures of Antibes (France).
Years 1975 to 86 - Participation in various Offshore Diving Works in United Arabs Emirates, Egypt, Libya,
Tunisia, Italy, Congo, Gabon, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, North Sea, on the Mururoa atoll, in French Polynesia. Pipe
