Merci d avoir achet le tensiom tre automatique avec IntelliSenseMC
HEM-711AC d Omron. Bien que votre tension art rielle change au cours
de la journ e, vous n avez aucun ajustement effectuer. Le tensiom tre
s ajuste aux fluctuations de votre tat. Le tensiom tre IntelliSenseMC est
dot d une technologie logique floue qui d tecte vos tensions systolique
et diastolique, et personnalise le gonflement de chaque mesure. L inconfort
et les r sultats erron e dus un gonflage incorrect du brassard
sont pratiquement limin s.
Votre nouveau tensiom tre OMRON utilise la m thode oscillom trique
de mesure de la tension art rielle. Cela signifie que le tensiom tre
d tecte les mouvements du sang dans votre art re brachiale et convertit
ces mouvements en lectures num riques. L op ration d une touche
remplit automatiquement le brassard d air, amorce le d gonflage,
et affiche les mesures de tension systolique et diastolique
et le pouls sur un tr s grand cran.

GUIDE DE RÉFÉRENCE
1. vitez de boire, de fumer et de faire de l exercice au moins 30 minutes
avant de prendre une mesure.
2. Enlevez les v tements ajust s de la partie sup rieure de votre bras.
3. Assoyez-vous sur une chaise, les pieds plat sur le sol, et placez
votre bras sur une table de fa on que le brassard soit la m me
hauteur que votre coeur.
4. Passez votre bras dans le brassard en vous assurant que
le bord inf rieur du brassard soit environ un demi-pouce
au-dessus de votre coude et que l indicateur vert du brassard
soit au-dessus de l art re brachiale.

5. Tirez sur l extr mit du brassard pour que le brassard entier s ajuste
de fa on gale autour de votre bras, et rabattez fermement le c t
boucles sur le c t crochets du tissu.
6. Appuyez sur la touche ON/OFF.
7. Lorsque le coeur-symbole ( ) appara t l cran num rique, appuyez
sur la touche START, et restez calme (sans bouger) jusqu ce que
la mesure ait t compl t e.
8. Lorsque la mesure est compl te, l cran affiche votre tension art rielle
et votre pouls, et l appareil d gonfle automatiquement le brassard.
9. Attendez 2 ou 3 minutes entre des mesures successives de votre
tension. Il se peut que votre physiologie personnelle exige un temps
d attente plus long entre les mesures.

Ce tensiom tre d tecte votre pouls durant
le gonflage. C est pourquoi vous ne devez
pas bouger votre bras et vous devez rester
calme (sans bouger) tant que la mesure
n a pas t compl t e.

regonfle le brassard jusqu 30 mmHg
de plus que le gonflement initial
et recommence les mesures.

art rielle et votre pouls.
REMARQUE: Le tensiom tre met automatiquement
en m moire votre tension art rielle et votre pouls.
5. Appuyez sur la touche ON/OFF
pour arr ter le tensiom tre.
REMARQUE: Si vous oubliez d arr ter le tensiom tre,
il s arr tera automatiquement apr s cinq minutes.

Chaque fois qu une mesure est compl t e, le tensiom tre met automatiquement
en m moire la tension art rielle et le pouls.
¥ Lorsque l cran affiche le coeur-symbole ( ), appuyez sur
la touche (
) pour rappeler les mesures en m moire.
¥ Lorsque la m moire contient quatorze mesures, la mesure
la plus ancienne est effac e pour enregistrer une nouvelle mesure.

Pour viter des dommages potentiels au tensiom tre, utilisez seulement
l adaptateur courant alternatif (mod le HEM-ADPT1).

1. Ins rez le connecteur de l adaptateur courant alternatif
dans la prise sur le c t du tensiom tre.
2. Ins rez la fiche de l adaptateur dans une prise de courant
alternatif 120 V (50 - 60 cycles).

¥ Plier fortement le brassard et le tube.
¥ Gonfler le tensiom tre plus de 280 mmHg.
¥ D monter le tensiom tre.
¥ Faire subir de forts chocs au tensiom tre (par exemple,

monitor uses fuzzy logic intelligence to sense both your systolic and
diastolic blood pressure values, and the result is personalized inflation
with every reading. Arm discomfort and misreading due to improper
cuff inflation are virtually eliminated.
Your new OMRON monitor uses the oscillometric method of blood
pressure measurement. This means the monitor detects your blood’s
movement through your brachial artery and converts the movements
into a digital reading. At the push of a button, the monitor automatically
fills the cuff with air, starts deflation, then displays your systolic,
diastolic, and pulse readings on an extra large display panel.

QUICK REFERENCE GUIDE
1. Avoid eating, smoking, and exercising for at least 30 minutes
before taking a measurement.
2. Remove tight-fitting clothing from your upper arm.
3. Sit in a chair with your feet flat on the floor and place your
arm on a table so that the cuff is at the same level as your heart.
4. Put your arm through the cuff loop making sure that the bottom edge
of the cuff is approximately one-half inch above the elbow and that
the Green Marker on the cuff is above brachial artery.

5. Pull the end of the cuff so that the entire cuff is evenly tightened
around your arm and press the hook material firmly against
the pile side of the cuff.
6. Press the ON/OFF button.
7. After the Heart Symbol ( ) appears on the digital panel, press
the Start button, and remain still until the measurement is complete.
8. When measurement is complete, the monitor displays your blood
pressure and pulse rate, and automatically deflates the cuff.
9. Wait 2-3 minutes before taking another blood pressure measurement.
You may require more rest time between readings depending
on your individual physiological characteristics.

HOW TO TAKE A READING
1. Press the ON/OFF button.
a) All display symbols appear for
approximately one second.
b) When the monitor becomes ready to measure,
the Heart Symbol appears on the display.
2. Press the START button and remain still.
Initial LCD Test
As the cuff begins to inflate, the monitor automatically
determines your ideal inflation level. Because this
monitor detects the pulse even during inflation, do not
move your arm and remain still until the entire
measurement completes.
3. Inflation stops automatically
and measurement is started.
As the cuff slowly deflates, decreasing
numbers appear on the display and the Heart Symbol
( ) flashes at every heartbeat. In rare circumstances,
a higher inflation may be necessary. In those cases, the
monitor reinflates the cuff up to 30 mmHg higher than
initial inflation and restarts the measurement.
4. When the measurement is complete,
the arm cuff completely deflates and
your blood pressure and pulse rate
are displayed.
NOTE: The monitor automatically stores blood pressure
and pulse rate into the memory.
5. Press the ON/OFF button to turn
the monitor off.
NOTE: If you forget to turn the monitor off, it will
automatically shut itself off after five minutes.

HOW TO USE THE MEMORY FUNCTION
This monitor has a memory capable of storing fourteen sets of readings.
Every time you complete the measurement, the monitor automatically
stores blood pressure and pulse rate.

HOW TO USE THE AC ADAPTER
To avoid potential damage to the monitor, use only the exclusive
AC adapter (Model HEM-ADPT1).
To connect the AC adapter
1. Insert the AC adapter plug into the jack on the side of the monitor.
2. Insert the AC adapter plug into a 120V AC outlet (50 - 60 cycles).

Your HEM-711 IntelliSense“ Automatic Blood Pressure Monitor
is warranted to be free from manufacturing defects for a period
of five years under normal use. The five year warranty excludes
