Human Urine Protein Calibrator Code X0975
ENGLISH Intended use Reagent provided Réactifs fournis For in vitro diagnostic use. Human Urine Protein Calibrator is intended for use as a calibrator for the quantitative immunological determination of albumin and alpha-1-microglobulin (protein HC) in urine by turbidimetry. Human Urine Protein Calibrator is a mixture of human albumin and human alpha-1-microglobulin, preserved with 15 mmol/L sodium azide. Each donor has been tested and found negative for hepatitis B virus surface antigen, and antibodies to hepatitis C virus and human immunodeficiency virus 1 and 2. The albumin value assignment has been carried out by turbidimetry using a very precise transfer protocol (1) and the International Reference Preparation CRM 470 (2, 3). Valeur analytique The alpha-1-microglobulin value assignment has been carried out by turbidimetry using a very precise transfer protocol (1) and an Internal Reference Preparation for alpha-1-microglobulin. Precautions Please refer to the enclosed Analytical Value Sheet for lot-specific analytical values. 1. For professional users. 3. 2. This product contains sodium azide (NaN3) a chemical highly toxic in pure form. At product concentrations, though not classified as hazardous, sodium azide may react with lead and copper plumbing to form highly explosive build-ups of metal azides. Upon disposal, flush with large volumes of water to prevent metal azide build-up in the plumbing system. 4. Conservation Store at 2-8 °C. In the unopened vial the calibrator will remain stable until the expiration date stated on the label Once opened, the calibrator can be used for two months if stored tightly closed at 2-8 °C. If reagents are stored under any conditions other than those specified, the user must verify the conditions. If unexpected results are observed which cannot be explained by variations in the laboratory procedures and a problem with the product is suspected, please contact our Technical Service. Mode opératoire du dosage Detailed, validated Application Notes for the determination of albumin and alpha-1-microglobulin in human urine sample material, based on optimized test systems (4), are available from Dako for a range of automated instruments. For instruments not covered by a specific Application Note, a General Application Note is available which provides assay procedure guidelines. When using the General Application Note, each individual laboratory should validate their test system. 4. Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment to avoid contact with eyes and skin. 5. Unused solution should be disposed of according to local, State and Federal regulations. Assay procedure Reference interval Companion products 1. Pour utilisateurs professionnels.
