PRIS EN POSSESSION D’UN
VÉHICULE VOLÉ
CAUGHT IN POSSESSION OF A
STOLEN VEHICLE
Suite à un appel d’un citoyen vers midi,
le 9 avril dernier, les policiers du Service
de la Sécurité publique de la MRC des
Collines-de-l’Outaouais ont été en
mesure de procéder à l’arrestation d’un
homme de 43 ans et d’une femme de 49
ans d’Ottawa sur le chemin du Ruisseau,
à Val-des-Monts.
Following a telephone call from a citizen on
April 9, at approximately 12:00 hrs, police
officers of the Public Security Service of the
MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais proceeded
to arrest a 43 year old male and a 49 year old
woman, both from Ottawa, on Du Ruisseau
Road, in Val-des-Monts.
Avant de loger l’appel au service de
police, le citoyen avait remarqué que le
véhicule en question était enlisé en
bordure de la route Principale et que les
occupants essayaient des manœuvres
afin de déloger la voiture de sa position.
Donc, en bon samaritain, le citoyen
communiqua avec le service de police
pour rapporter la sortie de route.
The citizen had noticed the vehicle, which was
stuck on the side of the road on Main Street.
At that time, the occupants were attempting to
get the vehicle back on the road. Therefore,
as a good Samaritan, the citizen contacted the
police to report the incident.
À l’arrivée des policiers, ceux-ci ont
constaté que la Chevrolet Camaro
immatriculée en Ontario était rapportée
volée à Ottawa depuis le 7 avril et que
les deux individus avaient déjà quittés
les lieux.
Upon their arrival, officers were able to
determine that the Chevrolet Camaro, bearing
an Ontario licence plate, had been reported
stolen in Ottawa on April 7.
The two
individuals in question had already left the
scene.
Ceux-ci furent localisés marchant sur le
chemin du Ruisseau et furent arrêtés.
Tous deux devraient être accusés de
recel.
They were found walking on Du Ruisseau
Road, at which time they were arrested. They
should face charges of possession of stolen
goods.
