PROFILE
I am a translator and translation studies researcher with over six years of professional, academic,
research and teaching experience in the field. I have just defended my PhD and am now looking for
translation work, be it in literary or more technical areas.
Until now I have mostly been engaged in short-term translation assignments in a wide range of
fields, but I am looking forward to developing a steadier and long-term career in the practice of
translation. I can translate both from English into French and from French into English, and have
experience in both directions.
I am a dynamic, focused and efficient worker, highly detail-oriented and organised, and can work
very well under pressure, both independently or as part of a team.
