C100 EXECUTIVE FORUM
Born in 2002 as the Executives’ Circle,
the C100 Executive Forum is a private
and highly selective think-tank
gathering Belgium’s C-suite elite to
share experiences, learn from best
practices, and confront opinions on key
business, management and societal
transformation challenges.
Twice a year, some 100 CEOs and Csuite leaders -CFOs, CIOs, CMOs, COOs,
CHROs- are invited to confront
experiences, visions and innovative
ideas with an ultimately selected group
of C-suite peers with the purpose to
create a real-world, enterprise-wide
perspective that helps business
executives respond today, anticipate
tomorrow, and make the most accurate
decisions every day.
The C100 is unique in that it only
accepts individuals at the highest level
of their profession and eager to
continuously elevate their strategic
thinking.
As a deliberately elitist and discreet
place to think, the C100 Executive
Forum is accessible by personal
invitation only.
Inspirational. Insightful. Actionable.
A second wave of digital transformation is arriving. The first one mostly revolutionized the supply side through ecommerce and online channel. But with the emergence of connected objects, technology platforms and digital
ecosystems, the second wave will deeply transform the demand side and open a brand new scope of opportunities to
reinvent operational models, address new audiences, and transform customer interactions. As such, this second wave
will be fundamentally far more disruptive than the first one, holding huge potential at all levels of the business and
significant risks as well.
But deciding how to make the most of those upcoming new digital opportunities is complex and overwhelming. In
addition, many C-suite leaders –not being ‘digital natives’- recognize their limits in understanding the power of
emerging technology and evaluating the real digital potential for their business. This largely explains why many
organisations fail to embrace the opportunities, or worse, apply a wait and see approach.
This C100 session will explore what the second digital wave is really about in terms of opportunities and risks, and
enable a debate of ideas on why CEOs and their c-suites must give a particular focus on it, well beyond the
technology hype.
The C100 Executive Forum is carefully formatted and prepared to stimulate all participants to share their respective
stories, get actionable inspiration, and benefit from the collective experience in the room. Its well-structured format
ensures:
- balanced group discussions that are not dominated by any one individual
- forward-thinking and provocative debates facilitated by experienced moderators
- a mix of participants from diverse C-suite positions in different industries.
- real-world issues addressed in real time, in a give-and-take setting, and with no holds barred on how to rethink and
lead the
second digital wave
- Open and frank discussions in a strictly confidential, closed-doors environment
Each theme is introduced by an executive panel in order to focus the agenda and set the scenes of the discussions.
Afterwards, participants are invited to debate, share respective experiences and confront opinions in a roundtable
fashion. As a wrap up, table leaders share the 3 key issues/lessons/insights and recommendations that came form the
discussions.
