Thanks for the Memories
Week of Friendship ends
A
s the sun set, the wild west week Scouting activities at Tamaracouta came to a close.
The official closing ceremonies were on
Friday evening but the memories of
CCJam live on in the hearts of all
Scouts, Venturers and Scouters in attendance.
Radish and Gooseberries opened
the ceremonies by calling for the return
of the spirit frisbees that were presented
at the opening of the Jamboree. A special presentation of CCJam badges were
given to the Veterans.
Both the Canadian and CCJam flags
were lowered; followed by Ross Miller
and Mike Scott making a dedication of
a CJ’07 banner.
Baden-Powell delivered a special
message to all in attendance. CCJam
was officially declared closed by Ross
Miller.
Radish and Gooseberries thanked
Geneviève Maillé and Kevin Ward the
Youth Master of Ceremonies.
Performances by Red October and
Fighting Crime rocked the closing ceremonies long into the night.
If you don't give respect, then you won't
get any in return.
