Dès son arrivée à Paris, à 18 ans, Anthony Preel commence à
évoluer dans les univers liés à la mode. Hypnotisé par la créativité des photographes qu’il découvre et des peintres qu’il admire, fou de musiques et de voyages, c’est par le maquillage
qu’il choisira de s’exprimer. Sa rencontre avec Alice Ghendrih
fut déterminante. Ultra créative et déterminée, elle lui transmet
sa passion pour le métier pendant les deux ans où il l’assistera.
Aujourd’hui, Anthony met un point d’honneur à comprendre et
traduire les univers les plus différents des photographes qu’il
accompagne. Etre à l’écoute de l’artiste et respecter son style,
rester sage ou partir sur les pistes les plus créatives, les rencontres l’attirent et l’inspirent.
Proposer mais toujours en respectant les histoires que les photographes ou les stylistes ont en tête, voilà un challenge passionnant !
Arriving in Paris at 18 years old , Anthony Preel immediately
immerses himself in the fashion world. Hypnotised by the discovery of artists that he respects and surrounded by music and travel; he decides to express himself via the medium of make-up.
. A meeting with Alice Ghendrih is a deciding factor ; a person
who is extremely creative and determined, she inspires in him a passion for her art over the two years
that he assists her.
Today Anthony takes pride in understanding and translating the diverse worlds of the different photographers that he works with. To listen to the artist and to respect their personal style, to work simply or
to go down a creative path, it is these personal connections that inspire him. Being able to put forward
his ideas whilst still bearing in mind the stories of the photographers and stylists – that is an exciting
challenge!
