4. Current interests
Current research interests in Cultural Psychology, Semiotic Anthropology (semiotic dimensions
shaping human experience and conduct), Theoretical Biology (e.g. concepts of autochrony,
anticipation, developmental dynamics), Philosophy and Epistemology of Psychology. Specific
research topics include expressivity in perception, the concept of inner voice (as a vector and
regulator of inner and social life), synaesthesia and intermodality (and, more generally, anthropology
of perception). Additional competence in History of Psychology (especially Gestalt theory and its
subsequent avatars).
