Nitrocellulose Vernis
Les vernis nitrocellulosiques se composent d’un
agent filmogène : la nitrocellulose, et de plastifiants de
natures différentes, tels que les résines alkydes, les huiles ou les plastifiants synthétiques.
Ce sont des produits monocomposants, à séchage très
rapide et, en général, à très faible contenu solide. Ils se
caractérisent par une grande transparence et une excellente extensibilité, c’est pourquoi ils sont totalement
adaptés pour les procédés de vernissage rapide.
En raison de leur facilité de réparation, ils sont parfaits
pour le vernissage de meubles de style de très grande
qualité.
Nitrocellulose varnishes are composed of a film-forming agent, i.e. nitrocellulose, and various plasticizers,
such as alkyd resins, oils and synthetic plasticizers.
They are very quick-drying one-pack products and, in general, they have a low solid content. They are characterised by their high transparency and excellent extensibility.
As a result, they are very suitable for quick varnishing
processes.
Thanks to the fact that they can be repaired easily, they
are ideal for varnishing high-quality furniture.

Synthetics / Epoxi
Les vernis synthétiques sont des monocomposants
qui sèchent à l’air libre par oxydation, accélérée par
des siccatifs organométalliques. Ils possèdent une haute élasticité et une assez bonne résistance aux agents
chimiques, et excellente aux alcalis. Les impressions
chargées de phosphate ou d’oxyde de zinc offrent une
haute protection contre la formation d’oxyde.
Les vernis époxy sont des produits à deux composants
qui sèchent par réaction entre les groupes époxy et une
amine. Ils fournissent une excellente résistance à la corrosion et adhérence sur les substrats difficiles, comme
le verre.
À utiliser pour la protection de structures métalliques,
machines industrielles, vannerie, meubles en bambou
ou en osier, surfaces en ciment, ...
Synthetics are one-pack enamels that dry in contact
with the air through oxidation, accelerated by organometallic drying agents. They offer high elasticity, relatively
good resistance to chemical agents and excellent resistance to alkalis. Primers with phosphate or zinc oxide provide high-level protection against the formation of oxide.
Epoxy are two components varnishes that dry through
a reaction between epoxy resin and a amine. Provide a
good protection against corrosion and very high adhesion
to glass.
They are suitable for protecting metal structures, industrial machi-nery, basket work, wicker furniture, cement
surfaces, etc.

Polyurethanes
Vernis à deux composants qui sèchent grâce à la
réaction d’un polyol, composant A, avec un durcisseur
isocyanate, composant B, pour former le polyuréthane.
Le polyol peut être une résine alkyde, un polyester saturé ou une résine acrylique.
Ils se présentent sous forme de produits de fond ou de
finition, transparents et pigmentés, allant du mat intense à la haute brillance.
Ils possèdent une haute résistance aux agents chimiques, une dureté élevée et une très bonne résistance
à l’abrasion.
Ils sont principalement utilisés pour toutes sortes de
meubles, menuiserie, sols en bois, objets de grande décoration, etc.
Une ligne ignifuge est disponible pour les marchés publics, euroclasse B s2 d0, dans toutes les couleurs des
nuanciers RAL et NCS, brillance ou texture superficielle.
Two-pack varnishes that dry thanks to the reaction of
a polyol, component A, with an isocyanate hardener to
form the polyurethanes. The polyol can be an alkyd resin,
a saturated polyester or an acrylic resin.
They are sold as undercoat and top coat products, transparent and pigmented, with finishes that range from intense matt to high-gloss.
They offer high resistance to chemical agents, high-level
hardness and very good resistance to abrasion.
They are mainly used for all kinds of furniture, woodwork,
wooden floors and decorative objects, etc.
There is a fireproof version certified ass B s2 d0.

Vernis avec résidu sec très élevé, près de 100% solides. Pour leur application, il est nécessaire de mélanger
trois composants : le produit base qui contient la résine
de polyester, un accélérateur au cobalt et un catalyseur
ou peroxyde organique.
Comme vernis de fond pigmentés blancs, ils peuvent
être utilisés pour la préparation et le remplissage de
MDF afin d’obtenir un laqué haute brillance ou un mat
parfait.
Dans leur version transparente, pour le vernissage de
meubles à pores fermés, les instruments de musique de
la plus grande qualité et les cercueils.

Auxiliaires pour obtenir un effet de vieillissement et/
ou un contraste de couleurs sur du bois teinté ou laqué.
Les patines sont appliquées directement sur le bois ou
sur le vernis de fond poncé. Pour obtenir l’effet recherché, elles peuvent être étirées au pinceau (application
humique) ou, après avoir été laissées pour sécher, les
réduire avec de la laine d’acier ou un grattoir (patines
sèches).
Les glacis sont des produits huileux avec des pigments
d’origine naturelle, comme : l’ombre grillée, l’ombre
naturelle, la terre de Sienne. Ils sont généralement utilisés sur le bois teinté au vernis de fond transparent
poncé, afin d’obtenir un effet tridimensionnel plus riche en reliefs tout en ravivant sa couleur et en le vieillissant légèrement.

Solvents
Les solvants et diluants sont utilisés pour ajuster certaines des propriétés des vernis et peintures, comme le
nivellement, coulures, bullage, voilages, etc.
Ils sont nécessaires pour rendre l’application plus aisée
sous certaines conditions ambiantes (froid, chaleur, humidité).
Il existe une famille de solvants réactifs, appelés monomères, que l’on utilise pour diluer des produits sans
qu’ils s’évaporent. Ainsi, à la fin du séchage, ils font
partie du recouvrement, par exemple : solvant polyester, diluants pour acryliques UV ou diluants réactifs

Solvents and thinners are used to adjust certain properties of varnishes and paints, such as viscosity, levelling, settling, solvent bubbles and fogging, etc.
They are necessary for application under certain ambient
conditions (cold, heat, damp).
There is a family of reactive solvents, called monomers,
that are used to dilute products without evaporation. In
other words, at the end of the curing process they form
part of the coating, e.g. polyester solvent, solvents for UV
acrylics and reactive solvents for epoxy systems.

Tintometric System (Pigment)
Omarcrom
Industrias Omar est dotée d’un système tintométrique de fabrication qui lui est propre, basé sur les pâtes
pigmentaires OMARCROM.
Les pâtes OMARCROM sont fabriquées avec une résine
compatible avec la plupart des vernis contenant du solvant : Nitro, Polyuréthane, Acryliques, Polyester, Gelcoat, Époxy et certains synthétiques.
Les pigments ont été rigoureusement sélectionnés selon leur qualité, leur force colorante, leur résistance à
la lumière et aux agents chimiques. Ils ne contiennent
pas de métaux lourds, et sont conformes à la norme
EN 71-3 sur la migration des métaux et la sécurité des
jouets, c’est pourquoi ils peuvent être utilisés dans
toute application qui exige une sécurité toxicologique
élevée.
Avec les converter adaptés, il est possible d’obtenir
toutes les couleurs des nuanciers RAL ou NCS grâce au
logiciel disponible dans la page web OMAR réservée
aux clients.
Industrias Omar has its own tintometric system based
on OMARCROM pigment pastes.
OMARCROM pastes are based on a resin that is compatible with most solvent-based varnishes: Nitro, polyurethane, acrylics, polyester, gel-coat, epoxy and certain
synthetics.
The pigments have been rigorously selected on the basis
of their quality, colouring strength, resistance to light and
chemical agents. They do not contain heavy metals and
are compliant with the EN 71-3 standard on the migration
of metals and toy safety. Consequently, they are valid for
any application that requires high toxicological safety.
With the right converters, the software can obtain any
colour on the RAL or NCS chart. It is available for customers on OMAR’s website.
