We invite you to attend our day of continuing education on November 20, 2010 at the Future Inns
Moncton Hotel and Conference Centre, Off Mapleton Road , 40 Lady Ada Boulevard , Moncton ,
NB E1G 0E3 . Four presenters will be educating us on Dental Hygiene in the workplace. Our first
presenter is Ann Wright, R.D.H., and M.B.A., from the CDHA, who will be discussing employment
contracts. The other three presenters from New Brunswick , Huberte Gautreau who will discuss
pay equity, Kevin Savoie will discuss employment standards, and finally Lise Durette Lang will be
speaking on security in the workplace. We are receiving the New Brunswick College of Dental
Hygienists for their Annual General Meeting during lunch. It will be a great day for all Dental
Hygienists, for us to become better professionals in the work force today. We will be offering
simultaneous translation for the whole day.
Ann Wright, R.D.H., and M.B.A.: graduated in dental hygiene from the University of Toronto in 1971.
Throughout her career, she has held numerous positions in dental hygiene. These include working in
both private and public health practice, as an examiner for the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario
and as a clinical demonstrator in the dental hygiene program in Ottawa , at Algonquin College . She has
held positions as regional manager, managing multiple dental offices for a large practice group and as
practice management consultant and practice appraiser for a national brokerage firm.
Since her retirement, Huberte Gautreau has dedicated her time to fighting for a pay equity law in New
Brunswick , and to Conscience Canada . She was president of the NB Coalition for Pay Equity in 20082009 and in 2001-2003. She now co-chairs the New Brunswick committee of the World March of Women
2010. She also co-chaired the World March 2000. Since 2009, Huberte sits on the New Brunswick
Human Rights Commission. Before her retirement, Huberte worked abroad for many years as a
community health nurse. Upon her return, she taught at Université de Moncton School of Nursing. She
also coordinated a project which promoted awareness of international solidarity, and worked as a sexual
and sexist harassment counsellor. In 1995, Huberte received the New Brunswick Human Rights Award
and in 2004, the Governor General’s Award in Commemoration of the Person’s Case.

Nous vous invitons à participer à notre journée de formation continue le 20 novembre 2010 à

aurons Lise Durette Lang qui nous rendra plus connaissant sur la sécurité dans notre milieu de
travail. Nous recevons l’Ordre des Hygiénistes Dentaires du Nouveau-Brunswick pour leur
Assemblée générale annuelle durant notre diner. Ce sera une journée très intéressante pour nous
comme hygiéniste dentaire et notre milieu de travail. Ces connaissances nous permettront de
devenir de meilleurs professionnels dans le marché du travail. Nous offrirons traduction
simultanée pour la journée entière.
Ann Wright, R.D.H. et M.B.A.: diplômé en hygiène dentaire de l'Université de Toronto en 1971. Tout au
long de sa carrière, elle a occupé de nombreux postes en hygiène dentaire. Il s'agit de travail à la fois
privé et la pratique en santé publique, comme un examinateur de l'ordre des hygiénistes dentaires de
l'Ontario et une éducatrice en clinique dans le programme d'hygiène dentaire à Ottawa, au Collège
Algonquin. Elle a occupé des postes de gestion régionale et privé.
Depuis sa retraite, Huberte Gautreau se consacre à l’obtention d’une loi sur l’équité salariale et à
Conscience Canada. Elle a été présidente de la Coalition pour l'équité salariale en 2008-2009 et en 2001-
2003. Elle est présentement coprésidente de la Marche mondiale des femmes 2010 du NouveauBrunswick, poste qu'elle avait également occupé pour la Marche mondiale en 2000. Depuis 2009, elle
siège à la Commission des droits de la personne du Nouveau-Brunswick. Auparavant, elle a travaillé à
l’étranger durant de nombreuses années en tant qu’infirmière en santé communautaire. Elle a aussi été
professeure à l’École des sciences infirmières, coordinatrice d’un projet en éducation à la solidarité
internationale et conseillère en matière de harcèlement sexuel et sexiste à l’Université de Moncton. En
1995, Huberte a reçu le Prix des droits de la personne du Nouveau-Brunswick et en 2004, le prix de la
Gouverneure générale en commémoration de l’affaire «personne».
