Le CHANGELOG, kesako?
Vous ne le saviez peut-être pas, mais tout le monde peut suivre l'évolution du développement
de Mambo en temps réél! Si si! Pour cela, plusieurs outils à votre disposition:
- tout d'abord, la liste des tâches accessible sur Mamboforge.net, qui affiche en
actualisation constante les pourcentages d'avancement des diverses tâches prévues pour la
prochaine version.
- ensuite, toujours sur Mamboforge.net, son frère, le vilain canard tout noir, la liste des
bugs
soumis par les utilisateurs!
Celle qui empêche les développeurs d'avancer vers la version 5!
Mais qui est quand même bien utile, car nous pouvons tous contribuer à l'amélioration de
notre chèr Mambo en y faisant connaître tous les bugs (réproductibles, et relatif aux fichiers de
base!) afin qu'ils soient corrigés au plus vite.
- et nous arrivons efin à ce fameux "Changelog" ! Seul hic: pas de URL à vous proposer
pour une consultation directe, mais lisez la suite...
Le Changelog, c'est, pour vous le définir enfin, une liste actualisée des dernièrs
changements, ajouts, suppressions et corrections au niveau du code pour la prochaine version
de Mambo.
Actuellement disponible au téléchargement public, on accède à la version 4.5.2 (avec patch
vers 4.5.2.1), sortie à la mi février.
La nouvelle version, en cours de développement pour publication début/mi avril, est donc la 4.5.

Au besoin, relisez donc la liste des objectifs pour cette nouvelle version... (assez
intéressante!).
Que s'est-il passé depuis? Quels sont les bugs corrigés entre-temps, qu'est-ce qui a déjà été ajouté au code?
Eh bien, tous ces détails se trouvent dans le Changelog, qui lui-même se trouve dans la version
CVS de Mambo, accessible à tout un chacun sur mamboforge.net!
(Pour les personnes intéréssées, un article sur l'accès à cette version CVS est en ligne dans
nos FAQ !).
Voici donc, dans sa version anglophone, le Changelog :

revenez donc vérifier de temps en temps..

évoluer!
- bien distinguer, au niveau des modifications, les deux équipes:
- Andrew Eddie, responsable de l'équipe de développement, qui code donc pour la version
5, est plutôt là pour les ajouts de code en vue de faciliter la transition et introduire peu à peu les
nouveautés
- Rey Gigataras, responsable de l'équipe de Maintenance (des versions 4.5.X), sera plutôt
chargé des corrections d'erreurs et changements mineurs.
- mettre ce Changelog en relation avec la liste des bugs (voir lien plus haut): certains bugs,
sans description assez précise permettant leur résolution, sont en attente depuis plus de temps,
certains autres sont parfois pris en compte quelques heures après leur soumission..
En espérant que ces détails vous laissent entrevoir l'ampleur des travaux encore à accomplir
avant la sortie de Mambo 4.5.3 (pour ne parler que de cette version).
