L’objectif d’une mise au repos d’un cheval est de lui
donner la possibilité de se ressourcer, de retrouver un
bon moral et d’éliminer au plus vite les tensions
accumulées et lésions tendineuses. En un mot, retrouver
une harmonie globale de toutes les fonctions vitales
essentielles à la compétition.
The objective when resting a horse is to give him the
opportunity to recharge, regain morale and in the
shortest time possible eliminate all accumulated pain
and tension. In a word, to recover an overall harmony
of all vital functions essential for competition.
Chaque athlète est unique par sa discipline, son
fonctionnement et son mental. Equithalasso®
recommande, avant le début de chaque cure thalasso
ou balnéo, de réaliser un bilan locomoteur afin de
déterminer les points faibles et les points forts du cheval
et ainsi mettre en place un programme de remise en
forme individualisé et efficace.
Each athlete is unique thanks to the discipline it is involved with, how it functions and its temperament. Equithalasso® recommends, before the start of each thalasso
treatment, that a musculoskeletal check up should be
undertaken in order to determine the horse’s strengths
and weaknesses and thus implement an efficient and
individual fitness programme.

The length of treatment is based on the trainer’s or the

revitalisant), techniques de massages innovants, étirements sportifs. Cette

équin, fondatrice d’Equithalasso®, de créer un nouveau concept de soins pour

of horses since 2000, enabled Bénédicte Lucazeau, osteopath and equine
