THIS WILL GET YOU TO THE NORTHERN MAIN ENTRANCE OF CEA
From the “Pont de Sèvres” bridge of Sèvres – south/west of Paris (approximately 40
minutes)
On the west ring road of Paris, take the exit “Direction Bordeaux-Nantes”. Take the main
road N118 direction "Chartres - Orléans" and exit at "Saclay/Gif-sur-Yvette".
This exit leads to the roundabout of the "Christ of Saclay". From there, take D36 road
direction "Châteaufort".
The CEA Saclay is less than one kilometre on the left.
From the “Porte d’Orléans” gate of Orléans – south of Paris (approximately 40 minutes)
On the south ring road of Paris, take the A6 highway at the “gate of Orléans” and follow the
directions: "Orleans/Lyon", "Chartres/Orleans" (by highway), "Versailles - Igny Bièvres - Cité
scientifique", then "Saclay".
At the roundabout of the "Christ of Saclay", take D36 road direction "Châteaufort".
The CEA Saclay is less than one kilometre on the left.
3) PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION FROM AIRPORT TO PARIS
Arrival at Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport :
The airport is located 30 km north of Paris. It is conveniently connected 4 times an hour from
5 a.m. to 12 p.m. to downtown Paris by the RER B metro line (rapid regional metro system).
A bus connects the RER station to terminals 1 and 2 (at terminal 1, exit 28, arrival floor, at
terminal 2A, exit 5, terminal 2B, exit 6, terminal 2C, exit 9, terminal 2D, exit 2, terminal 2F,
exit F, departure floor).
Option 1 : how to get to the northern main entrance of CEA Saclay.
Take the RER B – direction “Saint-Rémy-les-Chevreuse” – to the station “MASSYPALAISEAU (about 60 minutes) – At this station, go to the bus stop and get on the bus
ALBATRANS 91-06 to “CEA Porte Nord” Northern gate (about 40 minutes).

Option 2 : how to get to the southern entrance of CEA Saclay.
Take the RER B - direction “Saint-Rémy-les-Chevreuse” – to the station “LE GUICHET”
(about 75 minutes) – At this station, go to the bus stop and get on the bus APTR 06-09 to
“INSTN - CEA Saclay, RN 306”. To get in the CEA Saclay, you must call your CEA
correspondant (phone is available at the guardroom).

The airport is located 15 km south of Paris. Take “Orly Val” shuttle to the station “ANTONY” –
then take the RER B metro line, direction “Saint Rémy-lès-Chevreuse”, to “LE GUICHET” –
At this station, go to the bus stop and get on the bus APTR 06-09 to “INSTN - CEA Saclay,
RN 306”. To get in the CEA Saclay, you must call your CEA correspondant (phone is
available at the guardroom).
