Ian Shepherdson is the 2014 winner of the Wall Street Journal’s annual U.S. economic forecasting competition.
His ability to make robust, non-consensus calls and to defend his views with hard analysis has earned him
a consistent following in the markets and plaudits from the media over many years. Dr. Shepherdson has been
lauded in the New York Times as “consistently right” and the Edmonton Journal calls him an “especially astute
observer” of the U.S. economic scene. The London Times labelled him one of “the best economists in the City”.
In recent years, Dr. Shepherdson was one of the very first analysts to predict - as early as the fall of 2005 - that
a crash in the U.S. housing market would drive the economy into recession, and that a full recovery would take
many years.

Dr. Ingrid Nappi-Choulet, FRICS, is a Professor at ESSEC Business School and is the founding Director of the
ESSEC Real Estate Economics Chair and the RICS Real Estate Track at ESSEC Business School. She received her
doctorate in Economics from the University of Paris and completed her post-doctoral stay at Wharton's Real
Estate Department at Wharton School of Business. She got an HDR (Habilitation à diriger des recherches) from
the University of Paris-Dauphine and from Sciences Po Paris. Her research interests focus on commercial real
estate markets and corporate real estate management. She is the author of several books, the last one being
"L'immobilier d'entreprise, analyse économique des marchés" (2013, 2nd edition). She is member of the « Cercle
des Femmes de l'Immobilier ».

A GRI meeting is based around informal discussion groups
in which everybody participates. Each discussion contains
a Moderating Chair, and a selection of co-Chairs who
participate no more, no less than anyone else in the room.
Group discussions run concurrently, several going on at
the same time in separate rooms. Walk in and out at your
convenience and attend as many sessions as you want.

Cancellation and transfer to colleagues must be in writing.
Transfer to colleagues is possible at any time.
90% refund will apply on cancellation notices received by 31 July 2015.
