PJBL- CLASS VII In accordance with the guidelines of CBSE we are incorporating integrated project based learning wherein students will prepare projects for all the subjects based on a common theme. This endeavor has been taken up with the objective of inculcating the approach of integrating diverse subjects or fields and the spirit of collaborative learning. Process of Preparation and submission of project report Students are divided into six / seven groups in each class. Each student is given a sub- topic from every subject Each group submits one file only. In the month of the July the multi-disciplinary project will be submitted. Presentation will be taken by the respective subject teacher in her own scheduled class/ period. It will be done on A-4 size, ruled , coloured pastel sheets. The colour code for each subject is as follows: English- White Maths – Sky Blue Science – Pink S. Sc – Yellow H/ S/ F – Light Green The project report will be handwritten and credit will be awarded to original drawings, illustrations and creative use of materials. The students should continuously discuss with the teacher and prepare a draft before finalizing the report. The project report will be presented in a neatly bound simple folder. The project report will be developed and presented in this order Cover page showing project title, student information, school and year List of contents with page numbers. Acknowledgements (acknowledging the institution, offices and libraries visited and persons who have helped). Write a recipe of a tiffin snack which is tasty as well as healthy. Write a paragraph in 100 words on the topic ‘Junk Food’ Write an informal letter describing a visit to a tourist place where you felt rejuvenated in the lap of nature and pollution free environment. 6. Write an interview with a dietician focusing on a perfect diet for growing children SOCIAL STUDIES Impact of climate change on human health Heat related illness and death (cardio-vascular diseases,sun stroke,) Environmental degradation (forced migration,civil conflicts,mental health) Water quality impact (cholera,jaundice,diarrheoa) Air pollution (respiratory,asthma,allergies,chicken gunya) Effect of global warming on human health. Is there any variation observed in the temperatures against the normal body temperature? What all may be the possible reasons for variation in temperatures? Above what temperature, a person is considered to have fever? Suggest some methods other than giving medicine, to lower the temperature?
