About the RAW File Import Plug-in
This plug-in is used to import the RAW data file (file extension is “.orf”) into
Adobe® Photoshop 5.0 or higher version. You can display the image in the RAW
data format using Photoshop by installing the plug-in.
The plug-in is included in the software CD provided with the camera.

Cette extension s’utilise pour importer les fichiers de données RAW (dont l’extension
de fichier est “.orf”) dans Adobe® Photoshop version 5.0 ou ultérieure. Après avoir
installé cette extension, on peut afficher les images dans le format de données RAW.
L’extension se trouve dans le CD de logiciel fourni avec l’appareil photo.
System Requirements
• Windows® 98, Windows® 98SE, Windows® Me, Windows® 2000 Professional,
Mac OS 8.6 or higher version
• Photoshop 5.0 or higher (compatibility with earlier versions is not guaranteed.)
• 64MB RAM or more (128MB or more* is recommended.)
• 200MB or more hard disk space* is recommended.

Installation
1 QuickTime™ 4.0 or higher version is needed to run the software. If QuickTime
4.0 is not installed, install it by executing “QuickTimeinstaller.exe” in the
following folder on the CD-ROM (CAMEDIA Master):
• Windows
/CAMEDIA Master/QuickTimeEnglish/ or
/CAMEDIA Master/QuickTime/English*/
• Macintosh
inside the English* folder inside the QuickTime folder

3 Open the plug-in/English folder on the CD-ROM, then copy the file
“orf2rgb.8ba” to the Photoshop “Plug-Ins” folder. By default the “Plug-Ins” folder
is located in the folder where Photoshop is installed.
(Can be copied by drag and drop.)
4 Start Photoshop.
5 Select “Import” from the File menu to find the “Olympus Raw File” entry in the
sub menu.
If the “Olympus Raw File” entry does not appear in the “Import” sub menu,
check the path to the “Plug-Ins” folder in the “Plug-Ins & Scratch Discs”
preference window and copy the file “orf2rgb.8ba” to the folder specified by the
path.

Installation
1 QuickTime™ version 4.0 ou supérieure est nécessaire pour utiliser le logiciel. Si

2 Si Photoshop est lancé, le quitter.
3 Ouvrir le dossier Plug-in/French du CD-ROM, puis copier le fichier “orf2rgb.8ba”
dans le dossier “Plug-Ins” de Photoshop. Par défaut, le dossier “Plug-ins” se
trouve dans le dossier où Photoshop est installé.
(Peut être copié par glisser et déposer.)
4 Démarrer Photoshop.
5 Sélectionner “Importation” à partir du menu Fichier pour trouver l’élément
“Olympus Raw File” dans le sous-menu.
Si l’élément “Olympus Raw File” n’apparaît pas dans le sous-menu “Importation”,
contrôler le chemin jusqu’au dossier “Plug-Ins” dans la fenêtre “Modules externes
et disques de travail” et copier le fichier “orf2rgb.8ba” dans ce dossier.

2 Salga de Photoshop si estuviera en ejecución.

3 Öffnen Sie den Ordner „plug-in/German“ auf der CD-ROM und kopieren Sie die
Datei „orf2rgb.8ba“ zum Ordner „Plug-Ins“ von Photoshop. Der Ordner „Plug-ins“

3 Abra la carpeta plug-in/Spanish del CD-ROM, y luego copie el archivo

5 Seleccione “Import” del menú File para encontrar la entrada “Olympus Raw File”
en el menú secundario.
Si la entrada “Olympus Raw File” no aparece en el menú secundario “Import”,
verifique el camino a la carpeta “Plug-Ins” en la ventana de preferencias “PlugIns & Scratch Discs” y copie el archivo “orf2rgb.8ba” en la carpeta especificada
por el camino.
