Flûte Alors!
Flûte Alors!, a group of brilliant new-generation recorder players, has
been racking up nominations and prizes, both nationally and internationally.
Since its inception in 1999, the energetic and versatile group has distinguished itself with innovative programs and excellent performances.
Flûte Alors! presents dynamic and colourful shows encompassing music
from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance and Baroque eras, as well as
contemporary and jazz works, commissioned pieces and collaborations
with other artists. Look forward to an original, amazing bouquet of
sounds — a treat for the ears.

Frank, Carbou and Graham
This new trio’s repertoire is a blend of musical influences and eras, ranging
from original compositions by Emma and Thomas to Nina Simone
and Björk covers, jazz standards and Brazilian music. Emma Frank has
been compared to a young Joni Mitchell for her voice and lyrics. Thomas
Carbou and Patrick Graham, for their parts, are known to Montrealers
as the most eclectic musicians in town, combining Indian and Brazilian
The three artists promise an intimate and vibrant concert.
“It’s simple, everything is complicated!” That’s the theme of this show by Clip
the clown. Sometimes a simple action leads to catastrophe — just to remind
us that human beings are awkward, clumsy, ridiculous and terribly naive.

En route vers le Japon
Isami, is a spellbinding introduction to Japanese sounds. Accompanied by
her veteran fellow musicians Jérôme Ducharme, Patrick Graham and AnneMarie Cassidy, Yuki Isami performs contemporary compositions by Toru
Takemitsu along with traditional Japanese pieces. The shinobue (bamboo
koto
taïko (Japanese drum),
cello and guitar combine to create entrancing soundscapes typical of the
land of the rising sun.
Willy Rios and Sur Andes
all great charango player (a plucked-string folk instrument from the
Andes). He has been a member of various Montréal musical ensembles,
a number of talented musicians for this show: Rodrigo Salazar (bass),
Hugo Larenas (guitar), Daniel Emden (percussion), Sébastien Dufour
(guitar and charango), Mayra Patricia Rios (vocals) and a surprise guest.

Trio Populaire
The music of Trio Populaire is all about blending sounds from the three
shores of the Mediterranean. Since 2010, the three musicians have been
mixing rhythms that whisk our imaginations off on a trip along the spice
road. Tacfarinas Kichou clearly evokes the heat of nights in the Orient
Emmanuel Poizat on clarinet and Joey Mallat on guitar. The three musicians have but one goal: to create cosmopolitan melodies that invite
audiences to embark on musical journeys.
