Travaillant entre l'Inde et la France, David Ayoun est diplômé en 2015 du Fresnoy, Studio National des
Arts Contemporains, en 2015. Nourri par la pratique de la danse et de la performance, il utilise les dispositifs d'installation, la vidéo, le cinéma la photographie, la sculpture, le dessin et les outils numériques afin
de proposer des expériences sensibles du corps, du mouvement et de ses représentations. Il s'intéresse
également aux rapports entre langage et inconscient, entre rite et rêve, dans une perspective « interculturelle ».
Il a reçu le 1er Prix de la Jeune Création à la Fête des Lumières de Beaune-Lyon en 2010. Son travail a été
montré à la Nuit Blanche de Paris en 2011 différentes autres expositions. Son court-métrage DehaVānī (2014) a été sélectionné en 2014 au 16th FestcurtasBH (Brésil) et a été récompensé d’un Prix au FICEG (France) en 2015.
Sa dernière production avec Le Fresnoy - une installation multimédia co-générative - sera montrée au 18e
Festival Artdanthé au Théâtre de Vanves à Paris en mars 2016.

Working between France and India, he holds in 2015 a post-diploma of Le Fresnoy, Studio National des
Arts Contemporains. Nourished by the practice of dance and performance, he uses installation display,
video, photography, sculpture and digital tools to provide sensory experiences of representation of the
body and movement in space. He is also interested in relationship between language and unconscious,
rituals and dreams in an 'intercultural' perspective.
He received the 1st Prize for Young Creation at the Festival of Lights of Beaune-Lyon in 2010. His work was
shown at the Nuit Blanche de Paris in 2011, and different others exhibitions. His short film Deha-Vani
(2014) was selected in 2014 to the 16th Festcurtas BH (Brazil) and received an award at the FICEG (France)
in 2015.
His last production with Le Fresnoy « Dance /// Fragment » - a digital interactive and generative installation -, will be shown at the 18th dance festival Artdanthé of Vanves Theater (Paris) in march 2016.
