Cette année pour la première fois, Claudio Dora assumera la responsabilité de l’organisation et du programme, remplaçant Thomas Kehl. C’est pourquoi je ne voudrais pas manquer de remercier ici de tout cœur au nom de la SSOT Thomas Kehl pour ses longues années d’engagement. Quelques nouveautés vous attendent : les concours ont été restructurés et revalorisés, ils sont désormais décernés aux meilleurs travaux de recherche clinique et fondamentale, parmi les présentations des communications libres comme parmi les posters. Le Comité souhaite également introduire plus d’interactivité au programme du congrès sous forme de présentations de cas. Enfin, comme c’était aussi le cas jusqu’à présent, l’assurance-qualité prend une importance centrale et s’oriente prioritairement vers la qualité de l’indication. Cela se répercute sur nos deux thèmes principaux. En traumatologie, les indications de traitement chirurgical des fractures seront mises en lumière. Olivier Borens et Karim Eid vous promettent un programme passionnant et riche en nouveautés, mais qui reviendra également sur des points bien connus. En orthopédie, Christian Gerber et Jacques Ménétrey reprendront le diagnostic actuel. Les deux thèmes principaux ont pour but d’actualiser nos connaissances afin de pouvoir en déduire des indications sûres et fondées pour ou contre un traitement. En plus du programme scientifique, le congrès se veut aussi, comme toujours, une occasion pour rencontrer de vieux amis, de nouer de nouveaux contacts et de souder les orthopédistes en une communauté partisane. C’est pourquoi je vous conseille chaleureusement de participer à la cérémonie d’ouverture, ainsi qu’à la soirée de la Société. Jahreskongress der Schweizerischen Gesellschaft für Orthopädie und Traumatologie 5 Grusswort des SGOT-Präsidenten Liebe Kolleginnen und Kollegen Sehr geehrte Freunde der Orthopädie Die Vorbereitungen für den SGOT Jahreskongress laufen bereits seit Wochen und ich freue mich, Sie vom 26. bis 28. Juni 2013 zu einem spannenden Kongress in Lausanne begrüssen zu dürfen. Erstmals wird Claudio Dora für die Organisation und das Programm verantwortlich sein und damit Thomas Kehl ablösen. Ich möchte es an dieser Stelle nicht unterlassen, Thomas Kehl für seinen jahrelangen Einsatz im Namen der SGOT herzlich zu danken. Es stehen einige Neuerungen an: Die Preise wurden restrukturiert und aufgewertet und werden neu sowohl bei den Präsentationen der Freien Mitteilungen als auch bei den Postern für die besten Arbeiten in der klinischen und Grundlagen-Forschung vergeben. Der Vorstand möchte neu mehr Interaktivität in Form von Fallpräsentationen ins Kongressprogramm aufnehmen. Wie auch bisher nimmt die Qualitätssicherung eine zentrale Bedeutung ein und fokussiert sich in Richtung Indikationsqualität. Dies schlägt sich in den beiden Hauptthemen nieder. In der Traumatologie werden die Indikationen für die operative Frakturbehandlung beleuchtet. Olivier Borens und Karim Eid garantieren für ein spannendes Programm mit viel Neuem, aber auch Bewährtem. In der Orthopädie werden Christian Gerber und Jacques Ménétrey die aktuelle Diagnostik aufarbeiten. Beide Hauptthemen zielen darauf hin, unser Wissen auf einen Stand zu bringen sodass solide Indikationen für oder auch gegen eine Behandlung abgeleitet werden können. Neben dem wissenschaftlichen Programm soll der Kongress aber immer auch Gelegenheit bieten, sich mit alten Freunden zu treffen, neue Kontakte zu knüpfen und die Orthopäden zu einer verschworenen Gemeinschaft zusammen zu schweissen. In diesem Zusammenhang möchte ich Ihnen die Teilnahme an der Eröffnungsfeier und am Gesellschaftsabend nur wärmstens empfehlen.
