come have dinner and be inspired by an amazing speaker, and network with
hundreds of women from our community.
HOW IT WORKS
Make a table of 8-10.
Register your participants online at www.federationcja.org/choices.
Can’t fill a full table? Don’t worry! We will pair you with someone else.
Please ensure that your guests have paid the couvert before the event. Giving
the minimum required gift in addition to the couvert ensures that participants
are also giving back to the community. As a Table Captain, you must inform
your guests that attending this event requires a minimum pledge.

Le moment est venu d’inviter votre mère, votre sœur et vos amies à vous
accompagner à un dîner, au cours duquel vous serez toutes inspirées par une
conférencière hors de l’ordinaire et pourrez créer des liens avec des centaines
de femmes de la communauté.

Vous ne pouvez pas réunir suffisamment de femmes pour constituer une table
complète? Ne vous en faites pas. Nous vous jumellerons à une autre capitaine
de table.
Nous vous demandons de vous assurer que vos invitées ont payé les frais de
participation avant la date de l’événement. L’ajout d’une contribution minimale à
ces frais fait en sorte que les participantes s’investissent dans la vie de la
communauté en redonnant au suivant. En tant que capitaine de table, vous
devez informer vos invitées que, pour participer à la soirée, elles
doivent faire une contribution minimale à l’Appel juif unifié.

NANCY SPIELBERG
BIOGRAPHY
Producer Nancy Spielberg grew up immersed in filmmaking, working on her
brother's early films as cast and crew. An accomplished businesswoman,
fundraiser and philanthropist, she has in recent years turned her energy and
talents to producing documentary films. She served as consultant on the
Oscar-winning documentary, Chernobyl Heart, and is executive producer of
Elusive Justice: The Search for Nazi War Criminals.
Most recently, Ms. Spielberg produced Above and Beyond, winner of the
audience award at more than twenty film festivals. She is executive producer
of Who Will Write Our History, which tells the story of Warsaw Ghetto Jews
who wrote and buried their documents and stories into Polish soil before they
were killed by the Nazis, and of On The Map, a documentary by filmmaker Dani
Menkin, currently in post-production.
Nancy Spielberg is founder and co-founder of several charities including A Bid
for Charity, Children of Chernobyl, Project Sunshine and the American branch of
The Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance.
BIOGRAPHIE
La productrice de films Nancy Spielberg a grandi dans le milieu du cinéma.
Elle a en effet collaboré aux premières œuvres de son frère comme membre de
la distribution et de l’équipe de production. Femme d’affaires, collectrice de
fonds et philanthrope aguerries, elle a, au cours des dernières années,
consacré son énergie et son talent à la production de films documentaires.
Elle a été consultante pour le documentaire gagnant d’un Oscar, Chernobyl
Heart, et fut productrice déléguée pour Elusive Justice: The Search for Nazi
War Criminals.
Récemment, Mme Spielberg a produit le documentaire Above and Beyond qui
a remporté le prix du public dans plus d’une vingtaine de festivals. Elle est la
productrice déléguée du documentaire Who Will Write Our History, qui
présente la vie d'un groupe de Juifs du ghetto de Varsovie ayant enterré leurs
écrits en sol polonais avant d’être tués par les nazis, et de On The Map du
cinéaste Dani Menkin actuellement en postproduction.
Nancy Spielberg a contribué à la fondation de nombreux organismes de charité,
dont A Bid for Charity, Children of Chernobyl, Project Sunshine et la filiale

generosity, dedicated to ensuring the continuity and vitality of the Montreal
Jewish community. Its mission is to inspire and engage women over 40 to
mobilize resources and strengthen the Jewish community.
