The French International School of Antwerp is part of the network of 494
French schools located worldwide in 136 countries that are part of the Agency of
French Education Abroad (AEFE).
The Lycée Français International works according to the French school
programs and prepares the French national exams. The teaching quality and the
school organization are regularly inspected by the AEFE. A perfect educational
continuity can be guaranteed with any French school in France or abroad.
The Lycée offers many educational activities relied to the rich cultural,
linguistic and sports environment of Antwerp.
Set in a pleasant area in the centre of the city, the school welcomes students
of all nationalities, from nursery school to the end of secondary school.
The educational team has high-reaching standards and is very concerned with
each student’s individual success and well-being.
The French « baccalauréat », delivered at the end of secondary school, is valid
all over the world and enables students to enroll any university all over the world.
Multilingual teaching
In pre-elementary school the Lycée offers teaching either in French only,
completed with Dutch courses in 2nd and 3rd year. Parents can also choose FrenchEnglish from 2nd year of pre-elementary school.

In elementary school the families choose either French-English or FrenchDutch. The teachers apply the French school programs. For the English courses, the
students follow the Cambridge Primary Curriculum. For the Dutch language, the
students pursue the curriculum (leerdoelen) of the Flemish schools. At the end of
primary school, families can choose either to continue in the French school system
or in a Flemish or international school.
