Instructions to come to Orme les Merisiers
1. You arrive by train in Paris
Take the metro up to “Châtelet les Halles”. Take the RER B direction Saint Rémy les Chevreuse.
Follow the instructions from §2.2 below
2. You arrive by plane at Orly or Roissy (Charles de Gaulle)
airport
2.1. At the airport
•
If you arrive at Roissy (Charles de Gaulle) airport, take the RER B direction Saint Rémy les
Chevreuse / Orsay (1 hour 15)
•
If you arrive at Orly airport, take the Orlyval, stop at Antony and take the RER B at Antony
direction Saint Rémy les Chevreuse / Orsay (30 mn)
Note that, if you take the bus 91-06 (see below), you can also take the RER B direction MassyPalaiseau.
2.2. RER B station
You can stop at two RER B stations depending on the bus you take:
•
Le Guichet: there you can take either the CEA bus or the bus 9 (see §2.3)
•
Massy-Palaiseau: there you can take the bus 91-06 (see §2.4)
My advice is:
•
before 9:45: take the CEA bus at Le Guichet
•
after 9:45: you can take either bus 91-06 from Massy-Palaiseau or bus 9 from Le Guichet
2.3. Taking the bus at Le Guichet (RER B station)
How to take the bus at Le Guichet is shown in Illustration 1. There you can take two bus:
•
CEA bus: it is written “RER Le Guichet CEA Saclay” in front of the bus. The bus is free of
charge. The first stop is “Orme Les Merisiers”. Time table is given in Illustration 2
•
bus 9: take the ticket in the bus. Stop at “Orme les Merisiers”
•

If there is no roadwork, the CEA bus takes 5 mn, while the regular bus 9 takes 30-40 mn.

2.4. Taking the bus 91-06 at Massy-Palaiseau
