Subject: Opinion on Hog Farming in MB
Hi Cathy,
I just want to send a couple of lines to let you know that I dislike the explosive hog industry in Manitoba (or
anywhere). I don’t eat meat or fish for many reasons. I understand that many people do and will continue
to do so. I would encourage any meat production to be well controlled in a humanely approved manner,
without adverse chemicals or genetically modified organisms, with exceptional care for treating all effluent,
and eaten locally. I also encourage education/promotion related to reduction of meat consumption.
