Highly purified factor X from citrated bovine plasma, activated with agarose
bound RVV.
Vial containing approximately 50 µg of highly purified bovine factor Xa in
presence of additives and preservatives.

Each vial must be restored with 1 ml distilled water. It can be diluted to the
desired concentration, when required, in the adequate buffer.

Tested for its clotting activity in a factor X deficient plasma system without or

The plasma used for factor Xa preparation and BSA was tested with
registered methods and found negative for bovine infectious diseases,
notably for the bovine spongiform encephalopathy. However, no assay may
warrant the total absence of infectious agents. Any product of bovine origin
must then be handled with all the required cautions, as being potentially
infectious.
Le plasma utilisé pour la préparation du facteur Xa et de la BSA a été testé
par des méthodes enregistrées et est certifié exempt de toute trace de
maladie infectieuse bovine, et notamment de l'encéphalopathie spongiforme
bovine. Toutefois, aucune méthode ne permettant d'exclure totalement le
risque d'agent pathogène, ces produits doivent être manipulés avec toutes
les précautions requises pour l'utilisation de produits potentiellement
infectés.
