comfort becomes a reality Inside the false ceiling COADIS FALSE CEILING Installation comfort COADIS Cassette is an independant terminal air conditionning unit installed in suspended ceiling which combines the installation and operating advantages of central hot/chilled water production with individual temperature controls in each room. c The entire air diffusion system is included in the intake/outlet panel, with no additional ducts or grilles. c To optimise air diffusion, we use nozzles with a high induction coefficient, causing the ambient air to be drawn along by the supply air. GURANTEE A RESULT ▲ ▲▲ ▲ ▲▲▲ CEILING COANDA EFFECT c The COADIS Centrifugal fan pump the air flow through a punched aluminium air grille. After filtration the air flow is cooled (or heated) through a coil. The air flow follows the ceiling with Coanda effect. The COADIS Cassette uses high induction nozzles. c Coanda effect enables the air stream to adhere perfectly to the ceiling thus avoiding “cold dumping”. This virtual “casing” avoids uncomfortable sensation due to the cool air flow in the room, then the asymetrical radiance is minimised near windows. c This air flow which adheres to the ceiling by “Coanda effect”, discovered by the Romanian aerodynamic engineer Henri Coanda (1886-1972), has the beneficial effect of an air flow induction phenomenon. Thus, the air mixture in the room is more important, as the heated airstream is quickly pumped and mixed with the cool airstream, plus the ambient temperature in the room is more homogeneous. c High induction of the ambiant air flow. c No By pass phenomenon between nozzles and air inlet grille. Obstacle in the air stream (beams, light fitting, etc.) should be avoided as the air jet can break away from the ceiling and disturb comfort level. It is clear that various construction trades must work together to ensure thermal and acoustic comfort and high quality air diffusion.
