Le Petit Chaperon Rouge Le conteur : Il était une fois une petite fille de village, sa mère l’aimait à la folie, et sa grandmère plus fort encore. Cette bonne femme lui fit faire un petit chaperon rouge qui lui seyait si bien, que partout on l'appelait le petit Chaperon rouge. Storyteller: Once upon a time there lived in a certain village a little country girl. Her mother was excessively fond of her; and her grandmother doted on her still more. This good woman had a little red riding hood made for her. It suited the girl so extremely well that everybody called her Little Red Riding Hood. Mere : "Ma cherie, va voir comment se porte ta mère-grand : car on m'a dit qu'elle était malade ; porte-lui une galette et ce petit pot de beurre. Petit Chaperon Rouge (PCR): Oui, maman ! Mother: Go, my dear, and see how your grandmother is doing, for I hear she has been very il. Take her a cake, and this little pot of butter. Little Red Riding Hood (LRRH): Yes, mom! PCR: - C'est là-bas, près du moulin. Loup : Il faut aller a travers la foret. PCR : Merci monsieur le Loup ! LRRH is walking through the wood, singing and gathering flowers. - Hello! Are you the wolf? - I am the gray wolf! What about you? - My name is Little Red Riding Hood. - Hi! Were are you going? - I am going to see my grandmother and carry her a cake and a little pot of butter. - Does she live far off? - It is beyond that mill. - You must go through the woods. - Thank you, Mr. Wolf! … Rabbit: Good morning! - Good morning, the Rabbit! The girl takes rabbit by hand and all sing the song. Lapin : Bonjour ! PCR : Bonjour le lapin ! PCR prends le lapin par la main, elles chantent. Loup: - Toc-toc! Grand-mère (assise dans une fauteuil): Qui est la? Loup: - C'est votre petite-fille le Petit Chaperon Rouge. Grand-mère: - Entre, ma chérie ! Tire la ficelle et la porte s’ouvrira… Conteur : Le loup se jeta sur la bonne femme et la mangea. … PCR: - Toc-toc! Loup: - Qui est la? PCR: - C'est votre petite-fille le Petit Chaperon Rouge. Loup: - Entre, ma chérie ! Tire la ficelle et la porte s’ouvrira… Approche-toi, mon enfant… PCR: - Ma grand-mère, que vous avez de grands bras! Loup: C'est pour mieux t'embrasser, ma fille. PCR: -Ma mère-grand, que vous avez de grandes oreilles ! Loup:-C'est pour mieux Écouter, mon enfant. PCR: - Ma mère-grand, que vous avez de grandes dents ! Loup: - C'est pour mieux te manger! - Tap-tap. - Who's there? - Your grandchild, Little Red Riding Hood. - Come in, honey! Pull the bobbin, and the latch will go up… Storyteller: The wolf fell upon the good woman and ate her up. … - Tap-tap. - Who's there? - Your grandchild, Little Red Riding Hood. - Come in, honey! Pull the bobbin, and the latch will go up… Come get with me, my child - Grandmother, what big arms you have! - All the better to hug you with, my dear. - Grandmother, what big ears you have! - All the better to hear with, my child. - Grandmother, what big teeth you have got! - All the better to eat you up with! Conteur : Et en disant ces mots, le méchant Loup se jeta sur le petit Chaperon rouge et la mangea. Storyteller: And, saying these words, this wicked wolf fell upon Little Red Riding Hood, and ate her all up. Le loup ronfle. Arrivent les chasseurs : Chasseur 1: Tiens, le mechant loup ! Chasseur 2 :Tu l’as bien merite ! The wolf snores. Huntsman 1: Get this, the mean wolf! Huntsman 2: oYou deserved it! PCR : "Ah, comme j'ai eu peur ! La mère-grand : Comme il faisait sombre dans le ventre du Loup! LRRH: Oh, I was so frightened! Grandmother: It was so dark inside the wolf's body! Conteur: Ils recousent le ventre du loup et le chassent de la maison, puis ils dansent. The storyteller: They sew the wolf’s belly and chase him out, then dance altogether. Tout le monde danse « Sur le pont d’Avignon » Everybody dances « Sur le pont d’Avignon » Conteur : Et ils ont vécu heureux pour toujours… Storyteller: And they lived happily ever after…
