Job Title: Project Manager Category: Reports to: VP Operations Pay equity: Service: Information Systems Class: # Work week: 40 hours Revised: 20161108 Reporting to the VP Operations, the Project Manager will lead the development and support of the company’s software applications. The incumbent has a proven track record in the software development and support, have managed a small team, have knowledge of Agile and want to be part of the fast paced environment. RESPONSABILITIES 1. Project Management, Software Support 90 % 1. Manage all phases of multiple projects executed by local and remote teams 2. Run the project plan; ensure time frame and cost completeness and quality of all project deliverables. 3. Assist in the design and planning of new development projects. 4. Manage all internal software support issues. 5. Troubleshoot software support issues and work with our partners or developers to resolve. 6. Conducts testing and compliance to ensure quality of software. 7. Offers innovative solutions that will benefit the organization. 8. Ensure effective project management and keep management informed regularly of the progress. 9. Develop and maintain constructive business relationships with all partners and suppliers. 10. Work closely with the VP Operations to plan and deliver high quality software development projects on time and on budget 11. Support the programmers for the development of multiplatform applications (ASP.Net, VB.Net, C#, C/C++, JavaScript). 12. Lead team(s) of experienced software developers to create high-quality software products 2. Responsible for effectiveness of the project team and its evolution to being fully selfmanaged through coaching and collaboration with the scrum team 3. ACADEMIC ASPECTS AND EXPERIENCE 2 to 5 years’ experience in managing software support and development management. 3 years’ experience in managing web based application development MVC methodology experience Kentico platform Developer Experience in programming Must have led several projects from inception to completion Good knowledge of databases (Microsoft SQL 2014) Knowledge of IT standards (ITIL), IT security and systems administration Knowledge of Agile (Scrum) methodology an asset. Web Development experience an asset PMP (Project Management Professional) certification an asset. Knowledge of Great Plains and of the automobile industry would be an asset.
