What is Cadets?

Cadets is a national programme for youth
ages 12 to 18 who want to make new friends
while participating in fun and challenging
activities. The cadet programme:

citizenship

Helps develop decision-making skills

Increases self-confidence and
physical fitness
Common Activities
Some of the many opportunities that are
enjoyed by sea, army, and air cadets are:

Cost
There is no cost to join or participate in
cadet activities. Uniforms are provided free
of charge, on loan to cadets for the duration
of their membership.
Cadets participate in fundraising activities
from time to time to defray some of the
costs of providing the cadet programme.
