VOTRE ARRIVEE A L’INSTITUT DE PSYCHOLOGIE – FORMALITES ADMINISTRATIVES
Vous effectuerez au Bureau des Relations Internationales de l’Institut (BRI) les démarches administratives pour votre inscription à l’Université Paris Descartes. Votre carte d’étudiant vous sera délivrée dans les 5 jours.
Pour constituer vos divers dossiers administratifs, vous préparez:
Preuve de résidence en France
Preuve de ressources financières
photos d’identité
certificat de naissance traduit en français
carte d’identité ou passeport
carte étudiant de l’université d’origine
attestation de niveau de langue française (niveau B2 pour la licence, niveau C1 pour le master)
contrat d’études signé de l’université d’origine
Assurances obligatoires :
étudiants union européenne en échange: carte européenne d’assurance maladie (« sécurité sociale »)
étudiants québécois en échange : formulaire spécifique SE401Q106 ou SE401Q102bis
étudiants hors union européenne et hors échange Québec : l’affiliation à la Sécurité sociale française est obligatoire. Elle se fait au moment de l’inscription administrative (prix indicatif : 203 euros pour
2011/2012)
pour tous : assurance responsabilité civile (il est possible d’en souscrire une dès votre arrivée, auprès des mutuelles étudiantes françaises)
pour tous : assurance voyage incluant l’assurance rapatriement

Les étudiants de nationalité d'un des pays de l'EEE n'ont pas besoin de visa et de titre de séjour sauf pour certains pays si les étudiants veulent travailler en France: Roumanie, Pologne, Hongrie, Malte, Chypre,
Slovénie, Bulgarie, République Tchèque, Lettonie, Slovaquie, Lituanie. ..
Toutes les autres nationalités:
- Pour la première année en France, plus de 3 mois et moins d’ 1 an:
Ils doivent obtenir un visa au Consulat de France du pays d'origine avant l'arrivée en France. Dans les 3 mois qui suivent leur date d'arrivée, ils devront présenter à l'office français de l'immigration et de l'intégration (OFRII):
les indications relatives à leur état-civil et à leur domicile en France, une photographie tête nue, le certificat médical réglementaire (art.R313-1 du code de l'entrée et du séjour des étrangers et du droit d'asile), ce qui leur
permettra d'obtenir un timbre fiscal qui sera apposé sur le passeport et qui fera office de titre de séjour.
- Pour un séjour de plus d'1 an:
Visa et titre de séjour obligatoires. Le titre de séjour s'obtient à la Préfecture de Police de Paris ou au Siège de l'Université qui a un Service qui peut gérer ces demandes en début d'année universitaire.
Le visa permet d'entrée sur le territoire français, le titre de séjour permet d'y rester.

You will make at the International Relations Office of the Institute all the administrative procedures for your registration to the University Paris Descartes
Your student card will be delivered in 5 days
Required documents:
Proof of residence in Paris
Proof of financial means
Photos of identification
Birth certificate translated into French
Identity card or passport
Student card of your home university
Proof of French speaking (level B2)
Learning agreement
Compulsory insurances:
European union exchange students: European card for illness insurance (“French Social Security”)
Quebec exchange students: one of these 2 forms: SE401Q106 or SE401Q102bis
Out of union European students and Quebec exchange students: The membership of the French Social Security (illness insurance) is compulsory. Subscription at the moment of administrative registration
(Average: 203 euros for 2011/2012)
For all foreign students: proof of liability insurance (possible after your arrival to subscribe to an insurance plan comparable to those for French student)
For all foreign students: proof of travel insurance including repatriation, assistance…

Students of nationality of one of the countries of the EEE: They do not need a visa and residence permit except for some countries if the students want to work in France: Roumanie, Pologne, Hongrie, Malte, Chypre,

All others nationalities:
- For the first year in France, more than 3 months and less than 1 year:
They have to obtain a visa to the Consulate of France of the country of origin before the arrival in France. In 3 months which follow their arrival, they will have to present to the French office of the immigration and the
integration ( OFRII): the indications relative to their state-civilian and to their place of residence in France, a photography naked head, the statutory medical certificate (art. R313-1 of the code of the entrance and the stay of the
foreigners and the right of asylum), what will allow them to obtain a tax stamp which will be affixed on the passport and which will act as residence permit.
- For a stay more than 1 year:
Compulsory visa and residence permit.
The permit is valid for 1 year and obtained at the Prefecture de Police – 13, rue Miollis – 75015 Paris
The visa allows the entrance on the French territory, the residence permit allows to stay there.
