More than thirty joint seminars and symposia have been organized since, accompanied by various exchanges of visiting researchers in both directions. A new leap has been registered since the Japanese Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS), the main governmental funding institution for research in Japan, has become one of the main official sponsors. This year’s exceptionality, is that it will be held as a satellite event and just few days before the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS). The 6th Tunisian-Japanese Seminar on Science, Technology and Culture (TJASSTC) The 6th Edition of TJCST (TJCST-2005) will be organized by Borj-Cedria Science and Technology Park (BC-STP) and the Alliance for Research on North Africa (ARENA) on November 10th and 11th 2005. It will cover the following topics : - Informatics, Mathematics, Management of Technological Innovation - Biotechnology - Environment including Water Resources in Arid Land and Energy - Humanities including Culture, History, Japanese Language, Anthropology, etc. On this occasion, Borj-Cedria Science and Technology Park invites all Japanese and Tunisian researchers to participate to the TJCST-2005. 1 Event Date Official event date : from 7 to 12 November 2005 Conference tour : 7-8-9 November Conference: 9 (Registration & Reception), 10-11 November Excursion to Borj Cedria Science and Technology Park (optional) : 12 November * Tunisian side will bear the accommodation fee for Japanese invitees for 3 nights (9-10-11 November).
