She began piano study at age six and at age 11 began piano and organ study at the Montréal Conservatory of Music. After graduation in 2003 she studied on scholarship for a year in Paris at the École Normale de Paris-Alfred Cortot. She received her Master's degree from The Juilliard School in New York City, where she is currently completing doctoral studies with Paul Jacobs. Isabelle Demers was a featured performer at the 2009 national convention of the RCCO, in Toronto, and at the 2010 national convention of the American Guild of Organists, in Washington, D.C. She was the winner of the Godfrey Hewitt Scholarship in 2006. She has also been a prizewinner and finalist in several international performance competitions in the United States, Canada, and Europe, and performs widely in the United States and Canada. Isabelle Demers was previously on the music staff at Trinity Church, Wall Street, in New York City. Isabelle Demers is represented by Philip Truckenbrod Concert Artists. Native de Québec, Isabelle Demers se distigue déjà comme étant parmi les organistes les plus virtuoses de l’Amérique du Nord. Elle a étudié le piano et l’orgue au Conservatoire de musique de Montréal. En 2003, elle a passé une année d’études à l’École normale de Paris - Alfred Cortot. Elle a complété une maîtrise à l’École Juilliard à la ville de New York, où elle achève présentement des études doctorales avec Paul Jacobs. Isabelle Demers a été une des interprètes remarqués au Congrès national du CRCO à Toronto en 2009 et au Congrès national de la Guilde américaine des organistes à Washington en 2010. Elle a gagné la bourse Godfrey Hewitt en 2006. Elle est aussi lauréate et finaliste de plusieurs concours internationaux aux États-Unis, au Canada et en Europe, et elle joue en concert partout aux États-Unis et au Canada. Elle a été organisteadjointe l’église Trinity, Wall Street à New York. Isabelle Demers est représentée par Philip Truckenbrod Concert Artists.
