Diane is dedicated to improving public schools and to providing excellence in education to all students. Diane has been actively involved in her community school board and PTO. She is also involved with homeschooling and autism awareness. She is an avid quilt artist and has had her artwork exhibited in shows and galleries throughout the world. Diane's quilt prowess is recognized in Twelve by Twelve, The International Art Quilt Challenge. The book arose out of a group Diane formed with eleven other artists from the U.S., Europe, and Australia, and followed their progress as they created small quilts on different themes over a period of several years. Diane resides in Healdsburg, California, with her daughter, a rambunctious black Lab, and an inscrutable white cat.
