Introduction:
The Enid Creek project is located in south east Loveland Township,
approximately 14km north of the past producing KamKotia Mine. International
Explorers & Prospectors Inc conducted a one drill hole program, totaling 63m by
extending a previous drill hole that had not reached a favourable contact. The
contractor was Colbert Drilling (167 Jury Lane, Timmins) with a start date of May
17, 2011 to May 24, 2011. The layout and location was performed by Peter
Colbert, who located the previous casing. Wayne Corstorphine was retained to
log and describe the drill hole. The drill hole collar for EL25-08X is 50+00E,
10+175N, 452282mE, 5383225mN, Nad 27 zone 17, 270° azimuth, with a dip of
-70°. Water for the drilling was obtained from a low marsh nearby.
Location:
The property owned by International Explorers & Prospectors Inc in
Loveland Township, plan M-0293 consists of 10 unpatented contiguous units.
The property can be accessed by paved highway 101 west from the City-of
Timmins, then following the Malette Logging road for 20km and turning onto
Winter Lake Road for 8km, then 1.5km on a previously used drill road
constructed by a logging company. A four wheel drive vehicle is required to
access the drill site. Travel time to the drill site is approximately 90min.
Regional Geology:
The area is situated at the west end of the Abitibi Greenstone Belt,
which consists of Archean meta sediments and felsic to mafic volcanics, intruded
granitic and mafic intrusive bodies. A description of the geology is reported by
Ferguson (1944), Middleton (1972), Pyke (1970), Hart (1983), Barrie (1990) and
Ayer (2005).
Local Geology:
The property has a large outcrop of mafic intrusive gabbro in
contact with the andesite and large blocks of andesite can be observed
before the final andesite contact and disseminations of sulphides are also
observed before the contact where sulphides are observed in massive form
over several centimeters. This outcrop confirms the fact that tens of meters
of andesite can be observed before the key contact.

typical gabbroic intrusion; but this may be a hypabyssal type of tiner texture.
(246.0)-251.1: texture is of coarser variety -distinctly so where crystals of .5 to
1.5 or 2mm exist. Transition is gradational over 5-l Ocm.
Homogeneity is broken only by occasional. scattered pale, whitish, mm-scale
carbonate-quartz seams of planar form- estimate I% concentration.
At 251.1 there is a gradational transition into a liner appearing phase of the
"intrusive''.
251.1-266.8: A finer looking texture but in places a coarse, faint mottle is exhibited. A fresh surface displays a finely textured, blackish groundmass.
The unit remains very homogeneous to 265.1m with occasional pale carbonatequartz seams breaking up the uniformity.
At 265.1 there is a gradational transition into a slightly pale coloured. liner
textured section of'·intrusive''. This may represent the contact phase of the
major unit that then continues trom 266.8m. Distinct contacts however are di fficult to establish. The 265.1-266.8 interval is very homogeneous and should likely
be placed as the contact zone for the next unit.
266.8-284.1: A major. uniftmn section of"gabbroic'' intrusive. Re,embles
(246.0 )-251.1 interval. Distinct crystalline groundmass of medium grain size.
Extremely homogeneous, few carbonate-quartz seams.N
Nonmagnetic.
270.4-270.5: pyritic (5~'o) white quartz-carbonate veinlet at 30 degrees to core
axis~- very sharp, planar contacts with no contact alteration effects. Sheet-like
internal structure to vein let. Pyrite occurs
in locally clotted masses.

278.7-278.84: Sharply defined. white quam-carbonate vein let similar to 270.4
but without pyrite. Planar 35 degree contacts. No contact alteration effects on
host '·gabbro··.
Cored surfaced ofthis phase exhibits an 8-10% presence of dark green. 1-3mm
mineral blebs disseminated through the groundmass.
At 284.1 there is a sharp contact partially preserved at 45 degrees to core axis.
284.1-285.8: Distinct, sharply defined line-grained mafic phase. Homogenous
aspect. Slight suggestion of liner texture towards contacts.
Some core breakage at both contacts - especially the upper contact.
Similar composition to enveloping mafics.
Lower contact distinct at 50 degrees to core axis. 15% white carbonate-quartz
wi~inthecon~ctover4cm.
285.8-309.0: Similar to 266.8-284.1. Medium grain size to homogenous
groundmass. Massive texture. Nonmagnetic. Unmineralized.
Homogeneity broken only by 1-2% carbonate-quartz seams and scattered, darker
green segments found to be intrinsic to the '·gabbroic'· sequence.
A very uniform section as seen in previous such sections.
