4th Sunday of Lent
Objectif-Vie:
Dans l’Évangile de St. Jean d’aujourd’hui, on voit Jésus
qui guérit un aveugle. Jésus était critiqué lorsqu’Il
guérissait le jour du Sabbat. Mais Jésus est la Lumière du
monde. Encore aujourd’hui, Jésus travaille pour illuminer
le monde mais Son message rencontre en nous le doute, la
routine et parfois l’ironie.
« Seigneur, viens nous sauver des ténèbres-viens nous
ouvrir les yeux, aide-nous à rester fidèle à Ta Parole.
Seigneur, au début de ma vie, au milieu de ma vie, à la
fin de ma vie, révèle-Toi à moi pour que ma foi te
réponde : Je crois en Toi Seigneur. J’ai besoin de Toi;
Tu es toujours disponible. Tu m’aimes et cela me suffit.
Oui, ouvre mes yeux, Seigneur à Ta lumière afin de
voir les miracles que Tu opères dans le secret des
cœurs. Amen »

If we only understood the greatness of the Eucharist, St
Francis of Assisi said: “Man should tremble, the world
should quake, all Heaven should be deeply moved when
Jesus appears on the altar in the Eucharist… His Body,
Blood, Soul and Divinity.” Visits to the Blessed
Sacrament are acts of faith & love. Come often to adore!!

Let us listen and meditate on the words of John’s gospel:
“The Son of man must be lifted up, that whoever believes
in Him may have eternal life.”
During Lent, let us focus on the Cross… the Cross that
saves, the Cross of Hope, the Cross of Love, the Cross of
Eternal Life!
Anointed in Christ through Baptism & Confirmation, we
are meant to be morally transparent and enthusiastically
joyful, wise and safe as we travel through life. The
Gospel we profess is precisely to enlighten and guide us as
we move and detour along life’s journey. We must also
invite others to join us on the way. We profess with pride
and humility that Christ is our LIGHT!

Way of the Cross at 8 PM after the 7 PM mass and half
hour adoration.

Wow!! 106 birthday cards collected and 10 more received
in the mail. Overwhelmed and deeply touched, Uncle
Alfred said: “I haven’t lived that long to know that many
