MARRIAGE ENRICHMENT
A Marriage Enrichment Weekend will be held at Nativity Parish on March 12-13-14. All Married, Engaged and Pre-Cana couples are cordially invited to
take part in the Marriage Enrichment Weekend where
couples come together for the purpose of enhancement
and mutual sharing of the vocation of marriage. Take
a weekend for yourselves and experience the love we

ALTAR AND ROSARY SOCIETY
Altar and Rosary members will meet on Saturday, March

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION
ADULT CONFIRMATION
Classes for adults interested in Confirmation start TOMORROW NIGHT, March 8th at 7:00 p.m. in the Pastoral Center. Please contact Chonita at 898-5253 x 1, tomorrow between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. for last minute registration.
YOUTH GROUP TODAY
We will be presenting Creed plaques and bibles at the
12:30 p.m. Mass today. Our youth will meet today after the
12:30 p.m. Mass in the Pastoral Center. We will be discussing Church teaching on teen sexuality. Don’t forget
your permission slip!
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL REGISTRATION
The first 100 children to sign up will have a great, fun-filled
week learning about Jesus! Classes will be 8:00 a.m. to 12
noon June 14th-18th. We invite all children of the parish
from Pre-K to 5th Grade to consider spending this week
with us. Registration is open now. There is a $15 fee for
the entire week. This fee covers crafts and supplies as well
as daily snacks for the kids. That is just $3.00 per day!

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL HELP
We are in need of young people who will be entering Confirmation next year to help us for VBS. Adult volunteers
are welcome as well. If you think you can help,
call Chonita at 898-5253 x 1.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL SUPPLIES
We are looking for several items that we can use in decorating for VBS. If you have any old rope, old tarps, old life
preservers, old trunks, old sheets or old soccer nets, please
consider donating them to us to help make our VBS more
authentic. You may drop off any of your old equipment at
the religious education office from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m
Monday thru Friday.
BIBLE STUDY
We have started a Spanish Bible Study on Thursdays at 6
pm. In the Pastoral Center at 6:30 p.m. We are still looking for people interested in leading more Bible Study
Groups, especially English speakers. We are in need of
more groups to satisfy the need for adult education in the
parish. We will provide the necessary training for you to
lead others in scripture study. Please call Chonita at 8985253 x 1 if you are interested.
USED PRINTER CARTRIDGES
We are still collecting used cartridges as a fundraiser to
help the Nativity School. If you would like to help, please
drop your used cartridges by the religious education office.

BEREAVEMENT GROUP
We are initiating a bereavement support group at Nativity. The group meets on Wednesday evenings at
6:00 p.m. in the Pastoral Center. For more information
please contact Mary Kay Sullivan at 440-5397. The
purpose of the Bereavement Support Group is to offer
comfort and support to those who have suffered the
loss of a loved one. This group will provide opportunities for the bereaved to connect with one another in an
atmosphere of confidentiality, courtesy, and respect.
CATHOLIC DAUGHTER’S
Catholic Daughter’s will meet on Monday, March 8th at the
Pastoral Center. We pray the Rosary at 6:00 p.m and the
meeting will follow. New members welcome! .
Capri Sun and Kool Aid Collection
We are collecting empty Capri Sun and Kool Aid juice
packets for a fundraiser in support of the Nativity School.
Please bring your empty Capri Packets to the religious education office during office hours Sunday & Tuesday.

ANYONE WHO WISHES TO BRING A SOUP MAY

asking all Catholics to abstain from eating meat every
Friday during Lent.
SENIORS’ MORNING
OF REFLECTION
COME ONE AND COME ALL
Morning of Reflection for Seniors is fast
approaching, Monday, March 8th. Connie
Garcia from Nativity will speak on special
contributions and rewards for seniors participating in their extended families, parish
and community. We will gather in the parish hall before the 9:00 a.m. Mass. We will
conclude about 1:00 p.m. There is no
charge for this enjoyable opportunity to
connect with friends and add a touch of
spiritual nourishment to the Lenten season.
