The Fridge Festival
A Word on the Fridge Festival
The Fridge Festival is a time honoured tradition here at
Theatre Glendon and is celebrating 28 years of amazing
student talent. Coeur de Lion Productions, Glendon’s
very own Drama Club, is running the festival for the
third year running. Le festival se vante, comme toujours,
des productions écrites, dirigées et jouées par des
Glendonites et, comme toujours, les productions sont
absolument magnifiques. Every year we are blown away
by the talent that our fellow students have to offer, and
this year is no different. A New Kind of Tea Party
explores a moden day Alice in Wonderland, because
who drinks tea anymore? Impro-wrestling is an improv
showdown between the Starblazers and Plastic
Diamonds, so get ready to vote for your favourite team.
Not to mention The Drunken Reflection which explores
the story of an uncle with an alcohol problem and The
Deadly 7 a modern day take on the seven deadly sins,
each character embodying a sin. So hold onto your hats
because you’re in for a rollercoaster tonight!
