SERIOUS GAME: SAN DIEGO CTAD - IA EXPERT MEETING
Alzheimer’s disease is one of the most important health challenges worldwide.
Last year during the CTAD in Monaco, the IA workshop leads to the publication of the
recommendations for ICT use in Alzheimer’s disease.
This year the IA workshop will focus on the usage of video / serious games as an effective
tool for improving the health of elderly with AD, related disorders or frailty syndrome. In this
field also it is important to have recommendation to identify the proper design and
conditions in order to guarantee optimals results.

Stimulations, nTIC & vieillissement – les Recommandations
En 2012 durant le congrès du CTAD à Monaco, le 2° Workshop de l’Association IA avait
conduit à la publication de recommandations pour l’utilisation des nouvelles technologies
pour l’évaluation et le diagnostic dans la maladie d’Alzheimer. Cette année le 3° workshop
IA a pour objectif d’aborder l’utilisation des jeux vidéo ou serious game pour la prise en
charge. Dans ce domaine il est aussi important de mettre en place des recommandations
pour les solutions innovantes qui constituent une partie du futur des traitements non
pharmacologique.
Le 3° workshop organisé par l’équipe de recherche CoBTeK de l’Université de Nice
Sophia Antipolis et l’association Innovation & Alzheimer se déroulera en deux parties. Tout
d’abord dans le cadre des rencontres « Challenges for a Nice life 2013 à Nice le 6
Novembre, puis durant la 6° édition du congrès Clinical Trials on Alzheimer’s Disease
(CtAD) qui aura lieu à San Diego du 14 au 16 Novembre 2013.
