Le comité organisateur invite les membres des familles Handfield à célébrer le printemps à la campagne montérégienne,
dans un lieu tout à fait approprié pour cette occasion. Joignez-vous à nous pour rencontrer toute notre belle grande
famille.
C'est en avril 1795 que l'enseigne John Handfield arrive à Annapolis, Nouvelle-Écosse. Tous les descendants du Québec ont le même
ancêtre, Thomas, le 3e fils de John Handfield et Elizabeth Winnett né en 1741 et décédé à Verchères en 1828.

In April 1795, Ensign John Handfield arrived in Annapolis, Nova Scotia. All his descendants in the Province of Quebec have a common
ancestor, John Handfield and Elizabeth Winnett`s third son Thomas. He was born in 1741 and died in Verchères in 1828.
