Release of an adverse Pawn
When a Pawn is blocked, the assembly can't move, it must wait until the opponent
releases it.
The opponent can release a pawn:
• by taking a Tower, by moving on another Pawn, if they are at a good distance.
• by going down on the board.
If he chooses to go down on the board, he will apply the movement rules on the board.
Example:
2 players – From 8 years old.
If he goes down on the board by playing a Pawn with 2 flanges (B), he has the choice to
go down on board of 1 or 2 boxes.
Tawôl © is a strategic game in 3D on board
Composition of the game
Taking a Tower
When a Tower has been taken, the assembly can't move. The Pawn can't go down
anymore neither on a Pawn, neither on the board: It full filled its mission of taking a
Tower. The Pawn can still continue to move from Tower to Tower to facilitate decision
other Tours, following the movements of attack.
Tawôl © comprises:
• 1 board Tawôl © of 64 boxes (8x8).
• 36 parts distributed in 2 colors.

Last rule
The last rule says it's forbidden to block more that the half of available adverse Pawns
during all the game. Avaiable Pawns are those which are not on Towers. As are taken
adverse Tours, the number of Pawns that opponant can block descreases.
The one who blocks more than the half of available adverse Pawns must release one of
them at his choice, if the opponent notices it. This release counts as a hit. This rule is an
important element of the strategy, so pay attention !
Have a good game.
Trick:
To quickly count the number of Pawns that the opponent can block just count the
number of Pawns on adverse Towers, subtract it to the 10 initial Pawns and divide the
rest by 2. And round the result to the lower integer.
Example:
3 Pawns on adverse Towers. Remains 7 available Pawns. The oppponent can
block 3 Pawns max.
