The K-MAC patented concept is a revolution in design. It’s the
result of 50 years in bush technology.
Our bushings simply replace and overcome the premature failure of existing
OEM suspension bushings, to fix rattles; squeaks; and resultant loss of brake,
traction and steering response. All kits are supplied with bush extraction/
insertion tools.
OEM rubber bushes use air voids to allow two-axis movement, which can also
allow shudder; wheel tramp; and loss of traction under acceleration and
braking.
The majority of today’s aftermarket brands eliminate the air voids, but still do
not provide free two-axis movement.
K-MAC bushes feature a two-axis swivel-ball design. The K-MAC design
also significantly extends wear life, since it has more than double the
load-bearing area.
No adjustment ex-factory – but with K-MAC bushes, the front suspension
becomes Camber and Caster adjustable and the rear becomes Camber
adjustable as well as providing additional Toe adjustment.
Our bushes therefore reduce costly edge-of-tire wear; improve traction and
high-speed directional control; reduce dive/lift under braking and acceleration
and allow ongoing adjustment to resolve curb-knock damage. The ability to
easily adjust these bushes is essential for vehicles with wide-profile aftermarket
tires, altering suspension height or for gaining extra negative camber on track
days!
These unique K-MAC patented design bushes provide fast and precise
single-wrench adjustment, unlike other brands which require labor-intensive
removal each time to change settings.
