C'est avec grand plaisir que l'Association commerciale Hong Kong Canada
vous invite à son Gala traditionnel du Nouvel An Chinois, jeudi le 11
février au Holiday Inn Select, en plein cœur du quartier chinois de
Montréal.

La soirée débutera à 18h00 avec un cocktail et sera suivie par un
repas chinois traditionnel. Le souper se déroulera au rythme de la
Danse du Lion, d'un jeu questionnaire sur la Chine et sur la culture
chinoise et de quelques surprises. Tout au long de la soirée, il y aura
des tirages de prix, gracieuseté de nos commanditaires. Le Grand Prix
de l'Année du Tigre est une paire de billets d'avion aller-retour

CHINESE NEW YEAR GALA
The Hong Kong Canada Business Association is pleased to invite you to
its annual Chinese New Year Gala, on Thursday, February 11th at the
Holiday Inn Select, in the heart of Montreal Chinatown.
The celebration will start at 6 p.m. with a cocktail. It will be followed
by a traditional Chinese dinner, Lion Dance, a Quiz on China and the
Chinese culture and other surprises. Prizes will be drawn all along the
evening, courtesy of our sponsors. The Grand Prize for the Year of
Tiger is two round trip tickets from Toronto to Hong Kong, business
class, courtesy of Cathay Pacific.

Hong Kong et Shanghai signent un protocole d’accord pour promouvoir la coopération
financière
Dans le but d'activement promouvoir le développement et la coopération entre les services
financiers à Hong-Kong et Shanghai, Hong-Kong et Shanghai ont récemment signé un
Protocole d'accord sur la coopération financière (MOU). Le MOU permet aux deux entités
d'exploiter leurs forces respectives pour contribuer à la réforme financière de la Chine
continentale.
Selon le MOU, les deux villes renforceraient leur coopération financière sous la structure de
la Conférence de coopération économique et commerciale de Hong-Kong / Shanghai et avec
l'assistance des autorités financières de l'état.

Hong Kong and Shanghai sign MOU to advance financial co-operation
With an aim to actively promote development and co-operation between financial services in
Hong Kong and Shanghai, Hong Kong and Shanghai recently signed a Memorandum of
Understanding concerning Advancing Hong Kong-Shanghai Financial Co-operation (MOU).
The MOU allows both places to capitalize on their respective strengths to contribute to
financial reform on the Mainland China.
According to the MOU, the two cities would strengthen financial co-operation under the
framework of the Hong Kong/Shanghai Economic and Trade Co-operation Conference and
with the advice and support of the state's financial authorities.

Google pourrait se retirer de la Chine après les
cyber attaques sur Gmail, un article de BBC
News Google, le géant Internet a dit qu'il pourrait cesser ses opérations en Chine après une cyber
attaque sophistiquée et ciblée provenant de la Chine. Il n'a pas accusé Beijing directement, mais a dit
qu'il nétait plus enclin à censurer son moteur de recherche chinois - google.cn. Google a dit que cela
pourrait aboutir à la fermeture du site et de ses bureaux chinois. Leur rival chinois, Baidu a décrit ce
geste d’hypocrite et de tactique financière. Sur le marché américain mercredi les actions de Baidu
étaient en hausse de 13 % et celles de Google en baisse de 0.57 %. Google a dit que les comptes de
courrier électronique des activistes des droits de l'homme chinois étaient les cibles principales de cette
attaque, qui s’est déroulé en décembre.

Internet giant Google has said it may end its operations in
China following a "sophisticated and targeted" cyber attack originating from the country.
It did not accuse Beijing directly, but said it was no longer willing to censor its Chinese search engine google.cn.
This could result in closing the site, and its Chinese offices, Google said.
Chinese rival Baidu called the move "hypocritical" and financially driven. In US trade on Wednesday
Baidu's shares were up 13%, and Google's down 0.57%.
Google said the e-mail accounts of Chinese human rights activists were the primary target of the
attack, which occurred in December.
