Before selecting your preferences, there are a few details to keep in mind:

All of our housing offers in Lille are for the duration of a semester minimum, or more.
1st semester goes from August until December (included), and 2nd semester: from
January until May (included).
What is a security deposit? A security deposit (damage deposit) is often required by a
landlord from a renter to cover possible damages to the rental property; it is fully
returned, usually two months after the end of the contract. A deposit is NOT to be
considered as a month of rent.
What is an administrative fee? Administrative fees are an initial processing and service
fee charged up front by lenders when granting a loan. In case you finally cancel your
booking, the fees won’t generally be refund to you.
The residence or landlord will not be able to accept you if you do not sign your contract
upon arrival.
Most residences and landlords require you have a home insurance (mandatory in France)
before you arrive. An email will be sent to students before their arrival with more
information. The home insurance generally covers you for damages to your home caused
by fire, bad weather, natural disasters, broken glass, any damage caused by burglary or
attempted burglary.
Do not wait too long before submitting your choice; we will not be able to help you for
any housing after the indicated deadlines.
IÉSEG cannot provide housing for NON-IÉSEG students.
All prices are subject to some changes due to a higher cost of living, prices will be
updated on the housing list.
The average budget for housing in Lille ranges from 360 to 600 euros/ month.
For the 1st semester, leasing contracts start on August 1st until December 31st (included)
- For the 2nd semester: from January 1st until May 31st (included)
- Students can extend their stay depending on the residence or landlord availability
- The starting and ending dates are not to be discussed

IÉSEG cannot be your guarantor for any type of housing.
IÉSEG facilitates the housing for the students but we do not own all of the residences
that are listed in the housing application.
For any legal litigation, the school cannot be held accountable and you must pay all of
your due rent, otherwise IÉSEG can take academic action and the residences or landlords
might take legal one as well.
We suggest not being too “picky” in choosing a place to stay: you may find something
which is 30/45 minutes from the campus, but as Lille is built at a very human scale, you
can easily walk to reach your destination or use our efficient network of transportation
(cheaper rates for students). Don’t hesitate to contact us for advice.

you need to contact them directly (contact information provided
below).
In order to apply for the Estudines residences, you will need to
contact Damien Lerouge [email protected] to book your room.
Please indicate the name of the residence you would like to live in.

IÉSEG student residence hall: Concordia
Apply to Concordia from May 15th (Fall semester) / November 1st (Spring semester). This
will increase your chance of benefiting from this type of housing.

All of our housing offers are for the duration of a semester minimum, or more. 1st semester

31st (it is possible to stay longer in the residence if needed as long as you continue to pay for
the rent).
Guarantee deposit: the deposit will be returned two months after the end of your contract
(do not close your French bank account in order to receive the transfer, as the residence
only transfers to French based accounts). From this amount, the tax of bins, the surplus of
water and all possible deteriorations will be taken.
Agence SIGLA is a real estate agency managing IESEG residence halls: it is not part of IESEG.
Application and all administrative procedures are done through SIGLA. Please contact
directly Mrs Ladic to receive the contract.

Ps : if you stay in France one year or more, the French government (Direction Générale des
Impôts) will ask you to pay some tax. This “taxe d’habitation” is mandatory and applicable
to anyone who has lived in France, even if you return to your home country.
