GENERAL INFORMATION
The Conference’s organizers
The Conference Intermédialité, théâtralité, (re)-présentation et nouveaux médias is organized by
The Centre for Research on Intermediality (CRI) at the Université of Montréal and the
Laboratoire des nouvelles technologies de l'image, du son et de la scène of the Université
Laval à Québec (LANTISS).
The Conference will take place:
from May 24th to May 26th at the Université de Montréal campus.
from May 27th to May 29th at LANTISS, on the Université Laval (Quebec City) campus.
The day of May 24th is dedicated to the activities of the Research Working Group on Intermediality of
the IFTR (International Federation for Theatre Research).
The official opening of the conference will take place on May 25th and regular conference
activities will begin on May 25th.
The day of May 27th is a day of transition. No regular conference activities are scheduled for that
day. The members of the IFTR continue their work in the morning. All participants are invited to
make the Montreal-Quebec journey together in the early afternoon.
The return to Montreal from Quebec City is scheduled on May 30th early in the morning.
Exterior participants should consider making a plane reservation not before the mid-afternoon of
this same day.
Registration
The early registration fee for the 2007 CRI Conference is CAN $120 per participant (CAN $50 per
Student* and Independent researcher with no official affiliation), if paid before April 15th, 2007.
Please note that as of April 15th, 2007, the registration fee will be CAN $160 (CAN $70 per
Student* and Independent researcher).
These fees cover conference participation and scheduled cultural activities (A Ticket for a show
within the Festival Trans-Amériques on May 25th; a reception cocktail in Quebec City ; some
others activities are to be confirmed:

A banquet will be held in Montreal on the evening of May 26th. We ask Conference participants
wishing to attend to add a $30 banquet fee to their registration payment.

Computers available at the Library at the Université de Montréal
We are presently setting up Internet access for the Conference Participants at the
University of Montreal. Details will follow.
Computer equipment available at the Centre for Research on Intermediality
During the Conference, a computer desk will be made available to the Conference
Participants in the CRI offices. (Room C-2167, pavillon Lionel-Groulx, 3150 Jean-Brillant).
This PC computer contains the Office suite and Internet access. Printing of documents in
reasonable quantities will also be possible at this location. Due to the high number of
participants, the use of this desk will be organised depending on the demand.

The Lionel-Groulx Building of the Université de Montréal (in which you will find the CRI
offices) is located at a 5 minute walking distance from the Université de Montréal metro
station.
