Oswald began singing at a very young age.
He used to sing everywhere and said, « it is
an automatism ». At the age of 13 he became
an orphan and was forced to live with a foster
family. He then started writing songs to reveal
his feelings. These writings were for him a
means of expression that he used to heal his
heart after this tragedy.
In 2007, He won the fifth edition of the "Defi
Lyceen” which took place in Guadeloupe,
where he faced sixteen other participants of
the Caribbean. The apotheosis of his career
was confirmed when he was invited to
perform along with other big names such as
Ralph Tamar, Tania Saint-Val, Dominique
Coco, and Martine Sylvestre, in the first part
of the tribute concert to George Benson, the
famous American guitarist, singer and composer, in Guadeloupe, in December 2007. That
same year, Oswald released his first Maxi single called " My life " composed of four titles of
soul and R&b recorded in Yard Studio in
Saint-Martin.
Michel Mado, talented pianist and songwriter
of Guadeloupe, knew that he had made a
special discovery in Oswald's presence and
granted him a title on his album “Dedicace”
released in 2008.
In 2010, Oswald came back with two new
singles « Nan Lanmou laj pa ekziste » and "
Ton absence " a duo, which featured the
talented Misty Jean. These two singles
received the approval of his fans and the
international media. “Nan Lanmou” is
currently being aired in countries such as
France, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Haiti, Tahiti,
Dakar, St Martin, USA, etc. with the support
of Major radio networks such as NRJ, RFO,
TropiquesFM, MFM, just to name a few. The
promotional tour during the month of June
2010 in Florida followed right after. During
that tour, Oswald had a chance to perform at
several
venues,
including
the
28th
anniversary of "fête de la musique" organized
by “Alliance Francaise de South Florida”
where he made a memorable appearance on stage.
At the end of the first quarter of 2011, Oswald released a third single entitled “I Need Your
Body” which instantly became a hit worldwide with the support of international Media entities
such as NRJ, RFO, TraceFm, TropiqueFm, MFM, etc… He released the video for that single
on April 11th, 2011. The video is currently being aired worldwide through TraceTv, Trace
Tropical, Tempo Tv, and social networking websites. The video was followed by the release
of his first studio album on April 15th, 2011. During the promotional tour for his album, he
performed in several cities of the United States, France, Guadeloupe, Martinique, La
Reunion, Mayotte, Madagascar, French Guyana, and others. During this promotional tour,
Oswald performed at the 13th Annual Haitian Compas Festival where he left the fans
satisfied and wanting for more of his music.
Oswald’s songwriting, composing, and singing skills, allow him to vary his repertoire at any
given moment.
Oswald is an artist on the rise!
Oswald a commencé à chanter dès son
plus jeune âge. Il avait l'habitude de
chanter partout et a affirmé , «c'est un
automatisme » . À l'âge de 13 ans, il
devient orphelin et a été contraint d'aller
vivre avec une famille d'accueil . C’est à
cette époque qu’il a commence à écrire des
chansons pour révéler ses sentiments. Ces

du « Défi Lycéen " qui a eu lieu en
Guadeloupe, où il fait face à seize autres
participants de la Caraïbe. L'apothéose de
sa carrière a été confirmée quand il a été
invité à se produire avec d'autres grands
noms tels que Ralph Tamar , Tania Saint Val , Dominique Coco, et Martine Sylvestre, dans la première partie du concert hommage à
George Benson, le célèbre guitariste, chanteur
et compositeur, en Guadeloupe, en Décembre
2007. Cette même année, Oswald a sorti son
premier maxi single " My life" composé de
quatre titres de soul et R & B enregistrés à Yard
Studio à Saint- Martin .
Michel Mado , pianiste et compositeur de la
Guadeloupe , a estimé qu'il a fait une
découverte extraordinaire en la personne de
Oswald et lui a accordé un titre sur son album "
Dedicace ", sorti en 2008.
En 2010 , Oswald revient avec deux nouveaux
singles « Nan Lanmou LAJ pa ekziste » et «
Ton absence " un duo , avec le talentueux Misty
Jean . Ces deux singles reçu l'approbation de
ses fans et les médias internationaux . " Nan
Lanmou » est actuellement diffusé en France ,
en Guadeloupe , en Martinique, Haïti , Tahiti ,
Dakar, St Martin , USA , etc, avec le soutien de
réseaux de radio majeures telles que NRJ ,
RFO , TropiquesFM , MFM…. La tournée
promotionnelle durant le mois de Juin 2010 en
Floride a suivi juste après . Au cours de cette
tournée, Oswald a eu la chance de se produire
à plusieurs endroits , y compris le 28e
anniversaire de " fête de la musique " organisé par " Alliance Française de Floride du Sud ",
où il a fait une apparition mémorable sur scène.
A la fin du premier trimestre de 2011, Oswald a produit un troisième single intitulé " I Need
Your Body" qui est instantanément devenu un hit mondial avec le soutien des des entités
médiatiques comme NRJ , RFO , TraceFm , TropiqueFm , MFM , etc ... la vidéo de ce single
sortira le 11 Avril 2011. La vidéo est actuellement diffusée dans le monde entier à travers
tracetv , Trace Tropical , Tempo TV , et les sites de réseautage social. La vidéo est suivi par
la sortie de son premier album studio le 15 Avril 2011. Pendant la tournée promotionnelle, il
se produit dans plusieurs villes des États-Unis , France, Guadeloupe , Martinique, La
Réunion, Mayotte, Madagascar , la Guyane française , et d'autres. Au cours de cette tournée
promotionnelle , Oswald participe au 13ème Festival Compas haïtien annuel où il a laissé les
fans satisfaits et voulant plus de sa musique.
La composition et sa maturité vocale ont permis à 0swald de varier son répertoire.
