Hardness Range: 65 -75 IRHD
Trelleborg Dowty Malta material reference 2972 is based on a Hydrogenated Acrylonitrile-Butadiene
polymer (HNBR) and is designed to have improved low temperature flexibility.
Compound Key Properties include:

Colored Green for ease of identification.
Low temperature flexibility down to –40°C.
Heat resistance up to 150°C.
Resistant to mineral oils.
Resistant to Air Conditioning refrigerants (e.g. R134a) and PAG lubricants.
Resistant to Hot water / Steam.
Resistant to Ozone and Oxidative attack.
Projected service temperature range of -40 to +150°C which is dependant upon
medium to be sealed and conditions of service.
Possible Applications:
- Air Conditioning.
- Hydraulic / pneumatic Seals.
