Set up in 1860, Jouets Petitcollin specialises in the
manufacture of baby dolls, dolls and traditional swimming
dolls from blown plastic or vinyl.
A collection of dolls is produced each year and a total of over
300 listed articles are proposed in the company's catalogue.
Drawng on its collection of models and moulds kept for over
50 years and its specific tools, the company continues to make
dolls on an artisanal scale: fettling, painting and placing the
eyes, planting the hair, making and fitting the limbs, making
the clothes and clothing the dolls are all done by traditional
techniques.
As part of its policy of developing new models, Jouets
Petitcollin works with numerous artists, stylists and designers.
The products are distributed in France and abroad via a
network of non-branded toy shops. Petitcollin is the last
French maker of dolls still in business.
