Call for proposal
The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) has received financing from the
European Union to cover the cost of the West African Food Security Storage Support Project and
intends to allocate part of the funds to payments relating to the storage services of the West African
Regional Food Security Reserve.
ECOWAS Commission now invites sealed proposals from eligible bidders for SERVICE DELIVERY FOR
THE RECEPTION, CONTROL, STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE OF THE ECOWAS REGIONAL FOOD
SECURITY STOCK.

Bids must be delivered (by email and post) at the above office, on or before April 04, 2016 at 12AM
hours of Lomé – Republic of Togo.
Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 3 PM hours
of Lomé-republic of Togo at ECOWAS Regional Agency for Agriculture and Food (RAAF), 83, rue des
Pâtures (SUPER TACO), 01 BP 4817 Lomé-Togo.
The objective of this Call of Proposal is to select public bodies (Companies, Boards, Agencies or
Commissions in charge of the management of the food security stocks of ECOWAS Member States)
with storage infrastructure and equipment as well as proven professional experience and expertise in
order to assign the reception, storage and maintenance of the physical stock of the RRSA to them on
a contractual basis. Additional details are provided in the Call for Proposal Document.
